Mexie is a postdoctoral researcher and a leftist, vegan activist in Toronto. She holds a PhD in Geography and her work explores the intersections between political economy and environmental issues. She has a YouTube channel “Mexie” and she co-hosts “The Vegan Vanguard” podcast with her friend and comrade Marine from “A Privileged Vegan”.

In this episode, Mexie joins Greg and Henry for a important discussion about the impacts humans have on the environment, and why becoming vegan ideologically helps push us in a positive direction. This race, culture, and class conscious discussion also touches on the importance of emulating and envisioning a positive future.
