Antic Soul, a dynamic DJ duo from Berlin, has become synonymous with old school grooves and uplifting dub techno. Antic Soul's performances have graced the stages of some of Berlin's most iconic venues, including the renowned Tresor, Sisyphos, About Blank, Kater Blau, KitKatClub and Alte Münze. Beyond the club scene, Antic Soul's infectious energy have also earned them coveted spots at parades like the CSD Parade and Zug der Liebe or the Feel Festival. Fuelled by their love for spreading positive vibes and creating unforgettable moments, Antic Soul took their passion to the next level by founding their own label Entourage Concept, focused on fast dub and groove techno. With this platform, they have not only been able to produce their own music but alsoprovide a launching pad for emerging talents in the techno scene. Antic Soul's own productions are getting played worldwide in the club scenes, further solidifying their position as not just DJs but also talented producers.

Undefinded Distractions | Siblings of Sound

Tech House – often misunderstood and unfairly written off as commercial – takes centre stage in the upcoming Blitzcast by our good friend Sylwa, who has been influenced by its original, understated sound and approach, and now thrills with a soulful interpretation.

Blitzcast 028 comes courtesy of Sylwa – here’s what he has to share about the mix.

> This mix features tracks released exclusively between 1996 and 2005, with a strong leaning toward the sound pioneered by early UK tech house figures like Terry Francis, Eddie Richards, and the circle surrounding London’s Fabric club and Swag Records.
I aimed to create an obscure, moody atmosphere with long blends, moving through stripped-back, loop-heavy cuts, dubby stabs, and acid lines—gradually brightening into more melody-driven tracks toward the end. You’ll hear some crackles and slight mixing imperfections; I guess it's the unavoidable nature of mixing with vinyl. <

The Swedish veteran and key member of Fast Forward Productions has cultivated over a decade’s worth of sounds from her Berlin base and provided the soundtrack for her mp3 parties as co-founder and long-running resident, as well as for gatherings across a spate of clubs like RSO, Tresor, Berghain, Fold and Basement. Her productions play with her Persian heritage and a blend of electronic music genres to bring a fresh and uplifting take to market: a sensual and bustling mix of driving techno with a heavy focus on community building and human connection. Her dynamo beats emerge from her deep understanding of a dancefloor’s energy, and render obvious her quick-witted feel for music and people. Her forthcoming EP on Spray’s Punctuality Records twists that palette into something bold and elastic: a confident cascade of mystique, mayhem and sensuality. this one was really special to me. i drifted away from my original plan and followed the moment instead. i started in a heavy place, and you can hear how i slowly let go and allowed the music to carry me somewhere lighter.  i brought together many different genres, which has become something of a signature for me. i enjoy experimenting and testing how far i can take it, and that night felt like a peak of that approach. some of my emotional favorites found their place in here, and that made the set feel even closer to me.

the last half hour turned into an encore because the energy on the floor just kept going. sharing that sunrise with so many smiling faces made this set 1 fOr tHe bOokS.

My first Berlin set for Klub Verboten closing.
Still feeling the afterglow of that night.
It was my first time playing in Berlin, and I was trembling with nerves, changed the concept more than once before stepping into the booth. But the energy of the crowd, the love for techno, the way Berlin listens… it was unforgettable.
