After 15 years of shaping Hungary’s electronic music events scene, Technokunst proudly unveils its record label. The inaugural 12” kicks off a series of collaborative releases, featuring some of the collective’s favourite Artists. Each release in the ‘Split Series’ will consist of both original tracks and reworks.

The first EP brings together Rrose and Luigi Tozzi for a dive into very deep waters across four cuts of mental Deep Techno. These are functional, floor-focused workouts — built for keeping the floor moving through all phases of the night.

medea is a Dortmund-based DJ and resident at Tresor.West. Over the past ten years, she's shaped a distinctive and ever-evolving sound drawing from a wide range of subgenres to craft something uniquely her own. Her sets are known for their emotional depth and stylistic range, refusing to be pinned down.

For this feature, she's shared a one-hour excerpt from her set at the Community Saturday #6 in February earlier this year. This one dives into a drum-heavy, tribal-leaning vibe, packed with percussive energy, jungle-flavored cuts and a steady rise into deeper, more emotive terrain.

Underground Macedonian techno rebel Stojche known for his no nonsense vibrant and dynamic Detroit schooled productions enters the dolly family! With releases on label like a.r.t.less, Syncrophone and Fuse Brussels he is an artist well in tune with his craft. ‘Cause & Effect’ is another consistent Stojche voyage, remaining true to his sound that stands for high quality techno with a heavy dose of funk and emotional content that simply never misses!

Some sort of heavy fog lifts as you delve into this release by Teik Arô. “Beyond The Tree” lets us in on a fractal orchard, revealing a bassline capable of lifting you off your feet, floating for its duration. 

Time seems to accelerate on the fragile pitches of “Embers From The Moon” and is euphorically reconstructed through the pulses of “Vicious Wipe Out” and freeze over on the weightless impermanence of “Insomnia”. 

“Morning Recipe” presents us with a hyperspeed, anxious euphoria, that seems to be lulled by the futuroid dub channels of “Cryptbloom”
