Almost Lost

It's not much, and pretty basic, but it's the first thing I've completed in almost 30 years. It was mainly an exercise in getting familiar with my software and the available tools and sounds. Most of the sounds are stock from FLStudio and various plugins though I did change up a couple of them with effects and such. 

I appreciate any and all feedback, good or bad!

This is my first ever attempt at a real remix. Partly done to help me learn my software and the basoics of making/recording music. Using stems from the actual recording sessions of EMF, I've assembled anew arrangement and feel. Since it's mostly just me playing around I don't have any idea what Genre it falls into...Hope you like it and I hope it's cool I posted it here. hehehe

Originally this was going to be an excersize in using only Samples from the Sounds From Mars guys and a recent collection of all their samples I'd bought. However, as I was going through the samples it seemed that almost ALL of them were just percussions so I threw in a Synth I hadn't used before, Pendulate, and spit out a simple drone. The I got carried away doing other things and eventually ended up with this, which I don't think uses a single Sounds From Mars sample. hahaha

Okay, I think this could be the final version of this beast. If you hear it, please do me a huge favor and give it as harsh a critique as you possibly can. Just, please make it's constructive and not just a lame "this track sucks!" comment. I'm trying to learn and grow. Thanks!

Changing project name to Neural Implant...The INTOTA designation will used for experimental EP releases...

INTOTA is a dumping ground project by Dave Wilson. The name INTOTA came from a trip to a shopping mall food court in the 80's when the receipt I got from some food was running out of ink and the text was all broken. So instead of saying In Total, it said In Tota. I told my friend that one day I would make music and release it under that name. I kept that promise! Eventually I'll be publishing my more polished work to another account I'll link to once I start having stuff to put there.

After decades of messing around, I can now finally make stuff I don't totally hate. It's all still pretty basic and simple but growth takes time right? And I still struggle with moving on from one idea to the next.

I have no idea what my style will end up being but some of my influences are Jean Michel Jarre, Depeche Mode, Infected Mushroom, Lamb, and all the 90's techno you can't stand to listen to anymore.
