Spending the first part of his musical journey playing local underground clubs and afters in southern Brazil,Cauê made himself a name first and foremost as a talented DJ in the brazilian underground scene. After moving to London he soon formed an unshakeable bond with vinyls and started his first steps into producing music, falling more and more deeply into his devotion to create transformative hypnotic journeys to alter states of mind. Fast-forward 10 years and he's making a solid name for himself in the local London scene, and has released his debut EP on none other than Affin Records, followed by releases on labels like Circular Limited and KVLTO records, presenting a sound with deep foundations and atmospheres with a great driving direct to the dance floor.

Minù Jr emerges as a multi-faceted project, in perpetual evolution, always looking for new influences.
His musical oeuvre stands apart with an hypnotic universe that adeptly techno pulsations with daring experiments, giving rise to an immersive ambiance during his performances.
Last year, following the release of two techno-oriented EPs, Minù Jr joined the roster of the Lyon collective/label Monochrome. This collaboration materialized through the unveiling of a composition entitled "Orcynia," where he tries out 170 pbm. The result was conclusive, the composition was valued by peers and has been played by various artists.
Currently, he persists in creating music towards a synthetic drum'n'bass, tinged with dub nuances, and delivers his latest EP, "Qabam."

Artist's words : "Qabam is a an ode to moments shared with family – fleeting instances that constitute precious times of our lives. In this safe space, only the desires of experiencing life collectively and make the most of the moment persist. It is the authenticity of these moments that inspired my composition. All the tracks have a particular aesthetic and artistic consistency inspired by people that surround me.
In a nutshell , these four musical pieces stand as a reverential tribute to the individuals surrounding me and the shared moments that define our collective existence."

Into The Abyss #053 | Głós

Głós has been a shadow mainstay in the European Techno scene for quite some time, producing underground hymns for over ten years now and publishing a wide palette of releases throughout those years. Based between the capitals of Germany and Japan, as of late Głós has been alternating between Berlin and Tokyo—torn between two very unique cultures and different worlds. 

At this point, it’s difficult to say if that contrast is what makes his music so diverse, or if perhaps the dream-fueled contrasts within his work translate into his real life. While there might be no coherent answer to this question, at least this latest mix illustrates the constant duality in Głós's mind: Techno-like video game music, Ambient soundscapes, and dreamlike voices—all torn between moments of light and darkness. 

All of these different things meet in this mix, naturally going hand in hand as they have never been strangers to each other in the first place.

In the vast expanse of our cosmos, each human encounter forms a constellation—a fleeting alignment of stars illuminating the darkness of our solitude. We traverse these celestial bodies, orbiting others, drawn by the gravity of shared experiences and emotions. Yet, how often do we land upon these planets—these people—only to find barren landscapes devoid of the life we once imagined? The air is thin, and the soil yields no harvest. Every planet we visit remains dead.

This is not a physical death, nor the finality of existential cessation, but a death of potential, of growth. It is the realization that those we once thought vibrant have remained untouched by the currents of time, unchanged by the flux of experience. In these moments, we confront the stillness of their being and the immobility of their thought. The life we anticipated finding in their presence is a mirage, a projection of our desire for meaning and connection.

Roland Barthes spoke of the “death of the author,” suggesting that the interpretation of a text lies in the hands of the reader, not its creator. In the same vein, we might be complicit in these lifeless encounters. As the readers of others’ lives, we impose narratives upon them, expecting evolution, change, and enlightenment. When we find none, when the text of their existence remains unaltered, we are confronted with our disillusionment. It is we who have authored the expectation of their transformation, and it is we who must reckon with their inertia.

In his reflections on seeing, John Berger reminds us that “the relation between what we see and what we know is never settled.” When we meet those from our past, what we see is coloured by the knowledge we have since acquired—the awareness of our becoming, our transformations. We have journeyed and changed and look to others to affirm our evolution. But what if they are blind to their potential? What if the world remains flat to them and the stars are fixed in the sky?

To encounter these static souls is to confront the possibility that they are always dead. It is to acknowledge that not all who breathe are alive in the truest sense. Some are mere echoes, reverberating in the chambers of our memory, lacking substance in the present. They are the shadows on the cave wall, the ghosts of what might have been unanimated by the light of experience.

Thus, every planet we visit remains dead, not because they have failed us, but because they have remained themselves. They are the fixed points around which we orbit, measuring the progress of our voyage through the contrast of their stasis. In this realization lies the paradox of human connection: to see others is to acknowledge their limitations, and in doing so, we come to see ourselves more fully. The death we observe in others reflects the death we fear in ourselves—the death of growth, change, and the capacity to become more than we are.

To leave a planet behind, then, is not an act of abandonment but of survival. It is to recognize the necessity of moving forward and finding those rare celestial bodies where life does flourish, the soil is fertile, and the air is filled with possibility. Only in these living encounters can we continue to evolve, learn, and truly inhabit the brief span of our years.

Opening the VA, the talented Portuguese artist Maria Callapez invites the listener to experience her atmospheric Ambient universe.

Menou, the alias of Japanese artist Makiko Iwaki, creates soundspheres that evoke deep emotions and introspection. Her productions and live performances explore the subtle intricacies of ambient and deep drone music, carefully layering sounds to reveal delicate shifts and textures. With a focus on emotional depth, Menou’s work invites listeners into a space of quiet reflection, where sounds breathe and evolve organically. While her live sets primarily center around ambient and drone elements, she also incorporates experimental and deep techno influences. Under her Menou alias, she performs live, while her DJ sets are presented under the name iwamaki.

Between April and July 2024, Goran and Attila crafted an album that resonates with deep melancholy, love and drama. Written and produced without the aid of computers, this work relies solely on one sampler and synths, blending timeless analog warmth and granulated ambience with contemporary sensibilities. The album is a rich tapestry of emotive soundscapes, where spiced-up vocal samples are reimagined in a new musical environment, creating a unique sonic experience that feels both intimate and broad.

Goat Grab are Attila Ábrahám and Goran Grubišić, electronic duo from Subotica, Serbia. Both of them were involved in the local music scene for three decades, either with DJing, producing or playing in underground bands.
But for the first time they are creating their dreamy soundscape, that is both chilling, suspense and breezy with heart wrenching poetry and spoken words.

Dj and producer coming from top northern borders of the Czech Republic. Living in the forest where it's always raining. Transforming his life melancholy into sound-focusing mostly on deep music. Crossing boundaries between genres of techno, ambient, bass and even halftime drum and bass.
Started with production in the early 2010s, highly influenced by the original sound of dubstep and uk garage. After a decade and a lot of singles and EP's released both digitally and physically across the platforms and labels worldwide. Comes the debut album Black Rainbow released on kletis's own imprint DOLEC. This album works as a compilation of various genres and different moods. Darkened half-tempos, steps, breakbeats, and even proper techno - packed with beautifully strange rhythmics and atmospheres.

Kletis is also a member of the Shotgun Festival crew, which organizes outdoor festival, warehouse and even club parties. As a Dj he focuses his selection on techno tools, melodic/hypno side of techno, industrial atmospheres and ambient tracks.
