Vertex is Slobodan Gacesa from Serbia.

Back in 2008, when two friends, Nikola Kozic (ZYCE) and Slobodan Gacesa joined forces to create something new - a combination of psytrance and chillout - Vertex was born.

With Slobodan's knowledge in playing piano, harmonies and in general musical theory and Nikola's widely known expertise in music production and sound  design,  this project  represents  beautiful blend of deep, progressive, psy-trance, ethnic and ambient motives, with a wide spectrum of diverse themes and sounds. 

After the years of collaboration and Zyce and many studio albums, Slobodan took the lead in 2017 resulting in Vertex becoming the solo project of Slobodan. Slobodan has taken the sound to a more slamming progressive point with his new 2020 EP Lions Gate reaching no.1 on the psyshop charts.
