Ben Soundscape and Samie A present the latest release from Intrigue Music, an EP formed through reconnection and harmonious collaboration. Initially crafted between lockdowns, this EP began as the musical embodiment of reunion and shared experiences, with the final track last year.

Notably, this marks Samie A's debut under her name, having previously contributed to Superior Selectionz, known for their Intrigue and Lockdown releases. As she branches out on her own, this release is set to define her unique sound and artistic vision.

Ben Soundscape and Samie A reconnect in style on the 'Frontlines' EP, out 11th July on Intrigue Music. Four deep, rolling Drum & Bass cuts built for basements, rooftops, and everything in between.

From the tribal-weight of 'Battleground' to the moody swagger of 'Illusions of Grandeur', this one's full of groove, soul and proper dancefloor energy. 'Together Again' and 'Esteem' bring the warmth, touching on reunion, joy, and connection through music.

This marks Samie A's solo debut under her own name, following her work with Superior Selectionz. Expect more to come.

Next up on Intrigue comes Conrad Subs, a name that needs little introduction in today’s Drum & Bass scene. With releases on cornerstone imprints like Metalheadz, Hospital, Ram, Symmetry, 31 Records, Liquid V, and Dread, his catalogue already reads like a who’s who of the genre. This release marks his first appearance on Intrigue, and it’s one that’s been doing serious damage in Ben Soundscape’s sets for months.

‘Overrated’ sees Conrad team up with Collette Warren for a vocal gem that blends rich soul with heavyweight low-end pressure. Collette’s smooth, expressive delivery glides over the rolling groove, creating a track that feels both timeless and instantly infectious.

Flipping the vibe, ‘Heart Rate Rising’ dives into a deeper, old skool inspired sound. Crisp breaks, moody pads, and classic energy combine to capture that raw essence that first drew so many of us into Drum & Bass.

The new Alone With Everybody project by Drum & Bass connoisseur FD firmly solidifies his earned seat in the upper echelons of the Drum & Bass scene. The epic nine-tracker on The North Quarter showcases a new dimension to his sound, having already gained the trust of many essential labels in the past. Serious work has been released over the course of years, producing a balanced catalogue of what FD stands for. This persistent output has grown in both reputation and depth and tells the story of a man dedicated to keeping close to his musical vision.

A veteran producer and DJ in the scene for more than a decade, FD has the ears of a true tastemaker; an artist and curator that understands his audience. Each piece of music has been created with his highly self-critical approach and scrutiny, bringing the best to the fore on this anticipated new body of work.

From the iconic intro with Jazz T, all the way to the closing track 'This Is Now' the EP speaks a solid sonic language with a confident yet emotion and energy-driven tone-of-voice. The collaboration with Manchester-based 'OG' Fox for example highlights FD as a forward-thinking musician who embraces both roots and culture of his loved genre.

It is not a coincidence that FD releases his new work on Lenzman's The North Quarter imprint; a new home for a growing scene of matured musicians still leaving their traces on a Drum & Bass tempo. Taking the initials of his real name tells us that FD keeps close to what he stands for and who he is, directly in tune with the NQ's mission.
