Armin Bender has confidently joined the team of musical tomb raiders.

The ancestors’ dimension attracts with mysteries and its resemblance to the familiar historical past, but its furious guards are dangerous. To get rid of them, it is necessary to follow a particular frequency. Among the spots of quicksands, you can hardly notice the paths leading to the monument of electronic art.

Unravelling the system of chambers, galleries, and ventilation ducts is only possible in a specific state of mind, the one close to sound reflection. An unstoppable German adventurer volunteered to pave the way to the dub-treasury by employing a unique code that bypasses the traps. Woven into its structure are enchanted ultra rhythms with Per Hammar’s secret messages and signals, Krisz Deak’s ephemeral high-level processes, and Donato Dozzy’s flow of moderate forms and spiritual states.

Stately Podcast number 12 on the last day of the year! After a great digital release on our label we are happy to welcome Alexander Bogdanov for a podcast as well. Shift Mawelele is Cape a Town based DJ, deep music curator and member of the DeeTo sessions movement. A good taste of what the Cape Town underground has to offer.

Our next instalment comes courtesy of Pretoria-based artist Kat La Kat, 
a South African underground music legend. Showcasing his incredible depth of musical knowledge and renowned mixing skills, Kat has created an hour long journey that takes the listener through a wide range of feeling and atmosphere.
The mix starts off with a steady rhythm and echoing effects held together by sparse percussion, before Kat picks up the energy with signature ease, as stuttering claps swirl over dramatic synths and rousing basslines.
