This song is about the aftermath of a breakup and is about the feeling of processing the breakup over a long drive and while arriving home - hence the titular "pulling into Prairie Avenue". It was recorded at Earwig Studios in Seattle and features some bouncy intersecting electric guitar lines as well as expansive choruses that highlight the line "I always saw the best in you, leaving no chance to improve"

This song is based on the book Anna Karenina, specifically about the character Lenin being around other people at a dinner party in St. Petersburg. He listens to them talk but they’re clearly just trying to prove themselves rather than actually engage in discussion - this song is also in general about that dynamic outside of the context of the book. It’s the first Intrinsic Factor song ever released to feature saxophones and has two harmonizing saxes on most of the track. The chorus is driving but happy-sounding with a glockenspiel in the background and is about Lenin internally dismissing the people around him.

A fun, driving track featuring harmonizing saxophones and a syncopated piano riff. The song from the perspective of the character Levin as he listens to socialites talk in dining rooms in St. Petersburg (hence the painting of St. Petersburg as a cover) - it’s also generally about telling people who are just talking to hear themselves talk to shut up
