As I stepped onto the Earth Stage at the Texas Eclipse Festival 2024, a rush of excitement flooded through me. It was an honor beyond words to have the opportunity to share my music with the vibrant souls gathered under the canopy of Texas skies. Little did I know that the next few hours would be a journey of transcendence, as the energy of the crowd surged and swirled around us.

The crowd began as a humble gathering, but as the beats echoed through the air, it seemed to grow exponentially, swelling to a couple of thousand souls united by their love for music and the promise of connection. It was as if the very essence of the festival came alive in that moment, pulsating with anticipation and possibility.

As I delved into my set, the energy of the crowd became palpable, a tangible force that seemed to weave its way through the air, connecting each person in a shared experience of euphoria. The music served as our conduit, guiding us on a journey of exploration and self-discovery.

With each beat, each melody, the energy began to coalesce into a tribal frenzy, a rhythmic dance of heaving souls seeking enlightenment through the transformative power of sound. It was a beautiful chaos, a symphony of movement and emotion that transcended language and culture.

As the night unfolded, I found myself lost in the moment, swept up in the collective energy of the crowd. Together, we danced beneath the stars, our spirits soaring as we surrendered ourselves to the music, to each other, and to the magic of the festival.

The next day, in those fleeting hours, time seemed to stand still as we basked in the glow of the Texas Eclipse, our hearts and minds open to the infinite possibilities that lay before us.  I knew that I had experienced something truly special—a moment of pure connection and communion that would stay with me long after the festival had ended.

Performing at the Texas Eclipse Festival 2024 was more than just a gig; it was a privilege, a gift, a chance to be a part of something greater than myself. And as I stepped off the stage, heart full and soul alight, I knew that I would carry the memory of that night with me forever, a reminder of the power of music to unite, to inspire, and to transform.

"Interwoven" : A Journey Through Sound and Culture

We are thrilled to present "Interwoven," a 5-track collaborative EP from Iyakuh & Lo.renzo that delves into and celebrates diverse and cherished lineages of sound, woven into a cohesive musical journey. This EP guides listeners through a dynamic spectrum, drawing inspiration from the rich traditions of India, Africa, the Hawaiian Islands, the Andean Mountains, and the Amazon Rainforest of South America.

"Interwoven" immerses you in realms of deep bass, textured beats, downtempo grooves, and tribal dance rhythms, paying homage to the incredible cultures that have deeply inspired us. The EP features live vocals from Luana Schwengber on track 3, "Aina," and includes nature recordings from around the world, captured by the two producers.

Lo.renzo's live instrumentation adds a unique and authentic touch, featuring fretless guitar, sarangi, ngoni, quena, cumbus saz, kalimba, and various percussions. Each track seamlessly blends these elements, creating a vibrant tapestry of sounds that honor and unify these diverse musical traditions.
