"I was listening to Leon Vynehall's fabric mix and there was this amazing spoken word intro by Wesley Joseph. It just immediately inspired me to explore some left-field sounds and rhythms. I knew I wanted the project to have a dark, club-driven atmosphere, so I went about assembling hard hitting drums and bass and complimentary effects and textures. The bulk of the pretty much came together in one session, which is always a good sign of a project you can be proud about. Big shoutout to Leon and Wesley for the inspiration."
