Aug 29th Lunch: Panel with representatives of some of the TU student associations DISS, MARCH and SOLAR. 
Members of Project MARCH as a student team from the TU Delft are developing an exoskeleton together with their paraplegic pilot Claudia. Her feedback and experience will help us improve the exoskeleton before participating in the Cybathlon 2016. Their goal is to give paraplegics back the ability to stand up and walk, to overcome obstacles they face in daily life and communicate on eye level again. 
The aim of the Nuon Solar Team is showing the world the possibilities of high-end technology and sustainable energy. To be the fastest solar car during a race they work together with companies and the university to apply the newest technologies on Nuna. 
The Delft International Student Society (DISS) is a student run organization that works to represent a clear international voice at the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). They organize and empower our committee members to organize a number of events through-out the academic year.

Interview Acculturation - IAMEXPAT

Aug 29th Morning: Panel with the representatives of the associations  SG, Outsite and Delft Improv group.
SG wants to contribute to the academic development of students and to the public debate about the role of technology and engineers in modern society , both on and off the campus of the university.
Outsite is the youth division of DWH (Delft’s homosexuality group). They are here for everyone who identifies as LGBT and is younger than 28 years old. They organize all sorts of activities, from a weekly drink on Thursdays to quarterly parties and going out in Amsterdam on the weekend.
Delft Improv Group is the only English speaking improvisational theater group in Delft. A large portion consists off (international) students, but their group also includes non TU affiliated people. So, basically everybody is welcome.

Aug 30th Morning: Interview with two board members of the Centre for Sustainability.
The LDE Centre for Sustainability is a multidisciplinary Research, Education and Valorisation centre in which three Dutch Universities join forces: Leiden University, Delft University of Technology and Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Together with companies, NGO’s, governments and other committed stakeholders they effectively formulate the societal challenges to be solved through the creation of 'Roadmaps'​ surrounding our different (research) themes. They apply results and share outcomes with society - in order to achieve sustainable resources for a growing world population.
