Electronic – Disappointed (DJ JOHN Dub Extended Remix 2025)

Another of my visions of "how to give old melodies a new touch". The seemingly romantic original vocals in the scale of C-major can be interpreted slightly more darkly in the scale of A-minor while still preserving the romanticism of the original. Layered drum tracks from several drum machines simultaneously create a groove on the border between Tech-house and Tribal. The booming bass-line and piano riff taken from a hidden part of the original track should not work anywhere else but on the dance floor... :)

This is my take on Kaskade's track "I Feel Like". It was originally released in 2003, and then The Freemasons also did their version of this in 2007 with Amanda Wilson. I've brought this into the modern day with a fresh remix that feels like it belongs as a closing track for my sets.

Himself grew up on the dance floor therefore has a very strong opinion on Djing at all. Songs that sounding of his sets focus on rhythm feels and expressive bass lines, All spiced up with his own music productions, . "It must be agile, pumpin´, groovy, atmo and it must really swing! Cocktail which can only mix a few producers accross genres" talking about the music selection for his DJ sets.
