For our next instalment, we are pleased to welcome DJ & producer, Raz. 
Originally from Romania and now based in Manchester, Raz is the man behind the project & label Tamiras and more recently the vinyl only label, Ventriloc.

He has been consistently making music for the past 3 years with notable releases on labels such as What Now Becomes (Sleep is Commercial sublabel), Kiku, Podvodo records, Tamiras and his personal bandcamp.

Raz provides us with over 2 and half hours of groove ridden beats, taking us through his eclectic range and truly showcasing his artistry with his raw yet controlled mixing technique. With an infusion of his own productions, he gives us a taste of what’s to come..

From his uni days in England Bucharest native Victor Ernuteanu has been known as Guy From Downstairs. This producer first, DJ second has a unique ear for sound and over the years has been able to collect together the absurd and abstract and couple them together to form some of the most impressive sounds to emanate from the Romanian capital in recent times. Being influenced from everybody from Michael Jackson to MF Doom and everybody and anything in between GFD has a whole suitcase full of curveballs ready to throw your way.

As you might expect from an artist that has released on a section of labels such as QNQN, RAWAX, Curtea Veche, Acme, The Other Side, Robsoul, Pleasure Zone, and his own GFD imprint his sound palette is wide and varied. This varied approach is laid bare in all its electronic goodness on his instalment in our InSession podcast series. From laidback deepness to break fuelled heaters, acid soaked bangers and of course Romanian minimal, all are expertly stitched together.

Born at the Sunrise HUB, baptised at Caleidoscop Festival, still growing. Meet Capra Vecinului: an experimental live analogue free flowing project started and built beat by beat by Paul Agripa, Emi and Kozo. 

Paul Agripa is a vinyl distributor, DJ and  live performer, most often associated with the band Sahau. His favourite instrument is the keyboard. 
Respected label owner Emi is in charge of Contur record label and he’s one of those DJs with an unique underground sound besides being a super versatile producer.
Serban Goanță aka Kozo is a Bucharest DJ and producer, owner of the Zimbru label. He co-runs https://Intuit.fm with Paul Agripa and Dan Andrei, while also being a member of Sahau.

The three are curious producers who explore the thin boundaries between jazz, electronic music and technology. The group uses an ever-changing setup of synths, drum machines and modular synthesisers, while also adding in a surprise guest or two whenever needed. 

We seized the opportunity of publishing a cut from their live performance at Caleidoscop, an obscure music festival that takes places somewhere hidden behind the hills of Vâlcea County, Romania.
