Four our 13th podcast, we are super happy to host Brooklyn-based artist, Jacob Long aka Earthen Sea! 
His droney ambient, glacial dub-techno and beat tape inspired glitchy downtempo sounds had already gained the likes of labels such as Other People, Silent Season, Kranky or more recently Huinali Recordings & Mysteries of the Deep.  The selector DJ aims to tie together a number of different tangents of musical interest into a coherent audio journey. He offered us a deep journey into Ambient, Dub & percussive elements. This month’s Podcast chapter comes from our darling friend Maybe Laura who we met playing the ambient room at one of London’s still truly underground parties some years back. Since then, a string of fortuitous circumstances kept bringing us together and allowed for our friendship to blossom. Laura is a Lithuanian-born London-based DJ and sound healer deeply intertwined in the local music scene both as an artist and curator and well-loved for her genuinely warm energy behind the decks and on the dancefloor ♥️

Laura recorded just over an hour of sensual and deeply reflective soundscapes for us, gently oscillating between fourth-world and devotional ambient, experimental electronica and shadow-tinted downtempo. This journey’s pious tone is a thread holding it together as it unravels and exhibits its many faces. Listening in, we bear witness to our past lives unfolding before our mind’s eye, stories dated to ancient times and others holding hands with now, one track at a time ✨🎴✨

@ligovskoi is an interdisciplinary artist duo based in Paris and Brussels. This podcast is a live recording. Over the past eight years Ligovskoï has been working on a diverse body of work guided by their interests in both visual art and music. Through the use of both sonic and visual media, they explore the metaphysical and poetical potential of minimal and abstract composition.  Their diverse body of work made of publications, A/V live performances, and multimedia installations invites the audience to a contemplating experience of deep recollection; both profound and hypnotic. Their cinematographic music takes the listener on a spacey and meditative journey toward introspection and inner bliss.

Each selection is given room to breathe, space to occupy, and time to endure. It's impossible not to yearn for more.
