The ever-foggy view and the liquid atmosphere promised calm and general silence. But, just contrary, lost beats and broken patterns emerge from beneath the entropy of the forest, from every fern shaking and it screams from the distance like a high definition, silent river. 

This is a collection of recordings in different days, spots, weather and machines through 2020 and 2021 to be arranged later on again around the summer months 2021 into a single trekking day following the music.

Living in London is a truly colourful adventure - with downs deep low and ups real high - and if you look close enough there is magic happening all over the place. We are counting ourselves lucky to be able to work with makers that help create it, one of them being our dear friend and electronic musician @flaminia_elohk who contributed the latest mix to our Podcast Series ✨🌚✨

Flaminia is originally from Rome but has lived in London for quite a few years before taking off on a two-year long adventure travelling in South East Asia and Mexico, the places that drawn her with their mysticism and their approach to life and music-making. While she has originally established herself as a techno DJ and producer her path has gradually been curving towards more introspective flavours of electronic music - with ambient-leaning influences being present in her recent productions and, to a certain extent, in the mix she has kindly recorded for us. 

This chapter of our Podcast Series is a little different - moving in the direction of deeply-felt UK Bass with plenty of weighty lows, and vocal and melodic elements that take us through the seasons of emotions. With this deep and warm sound seeing it’s resurgence, Flaminia’s contribution to the series seems to come at the right time. This is a beautifully mixed journey that will make those slowly darkening evenings feel a little warmer so don’t be shy to let the music in 🌸

One of Calma's (@calmamadrid) latest signings, Camu (@javier-camunas) is a passionate collector of electronic music, ambient, contemporary music, unhurried, experimental techno... He develops mixes of great delicacy where he shares what his shelves hide. Since some time ago, we can enjoy his series of sessions, "Breiko".

Simone Giudice (@simonegiudice), class ‘89, is a composer and sound artist based in Rome, who accesses the world of musical experimentation through the club door. His techno and dance oriented attitude is the origin of a pro- found study of the sound acquired in the academic studies of electro-a- coustic composition at the “Santa Cecilia” Music Conservatory of Rome. In his journey as a sound designer, he continually witnesses the oscillation between intimate ambient / drone / experimental paths and the creation of peculiar rhythmic patterns of the most inspired techno ambient.

TREVE series  60 - Simone Giudice (Semantica)

Dj and producer coming from top northern borders of the Czech Republic. Living in the forest where it's always raining. Transforming his life melancholy into sound-focusing mostly on deep music. Crossing boundaries between genres of techno, ambient, drone and halftime drum and bass.

Started with production in the early 2010s, highly influenced by the original sound of dubstep and uk garage. After a decade and a lot of singles and EP's released both digitally and physically across the platforms and labels worldwide. Comes the debut album Black Rainbow released on kletis's own imprint DOLEC. This album works as a compilation of various genres and different moods. Darkened half-tempos, steps, breakbeats, and even proper techno - packed with beautifully strange rhythmics and atmospheres.

Kletis is also a member of the Shotgun Festival crew, which organizes outdoor festival, warehouse and even club parties. As a Dj he focuses his selection on techno tools, melodic/hypno side of techno, industrial atmospheres and ambient tracks.

@ligovskoi is an immersive audio-visual project founded in 2010 by Nikolaï Azonov and Valerio Selig. The pair invite the listener into a deep meditative state through their ambient, experimental and drone-focused productions and live performances. With releases on Field and Dement3d, among others, they also develop their sound and visual materials into installations. Their Patterns of Perception 57, introduced below in a short text by the duo’s good friend Victoire Kalamarides, is a serene example of the expansive and deeply contemplative atmospheres Ligovskoï creates.

"Ligovskoï’s set offers soundscapes of consciousness. Like a light that sounds through infinite spaces, the luminous property of their sounds sweep across waves of subtle body motions - one’s breathing patterns - and emotions. Shaping patches into a continuous breath, they present a deep session of inspiration. Their set’s movements give direction to a rain of vibrations that fills space into an electronic sound bath. 
Ligovskoï’s contemplative music supports the listener’s engagement to what is given to be heard. This journey’s sonic qualities resonate with the same qualities one possesses: luminosity, profundity - what one hears is what one is. It is as if the territories sounded by their modulations reflect one’s internal sphere; as to better hear that the limits between what exists outside and inside is porous; a constant be-coming. An envelope of resonance that wraps one’s body into rapture.
The listener’s mind navigates through sonic currents to progress from horizontality to verticality. 
Their measure has to do more with space and less with time: an invitation to take the time to carve more space. It is a profound music that has the ability to alleviate us from the weight of gravity; we feel lighter, like light. Through the final elevation we can find a spiritual revelation: a deep state of relaxation.
