INTROSPECTIVE Episode 007 - Jeaneiffel

Welcome my friends to the eighth episode of INTROSPECTIVE

As we promised at the beginning of the year, here is a prominent artist who I'm lucky to call my friend. He is Andrés Machado.

Andrés describes himself as a music passionate since he was a kid. His career started in 2011 when he won third place in the International DJ contest and got featured in the iDJ Magazine in the April 2011 Issue … with a review made by the judges.

Since then, he has been DJing and Producing on/off until 2017, which is the year that he started to produce music for brands and other artists. He's now dedicated to his own business which is offering music production lessons, and courses and producing music for whoever needs it. He's also focused on his artistic career will have different layers, which he refers to as a "Musical Ecosystem".

Andres will be delivering a lot of new music this year and he is starting off with this exclusive set to make you introspective.

INTROSPECTIVE Episode 008 - Andrés Machado

Welcome my friends to the Tenth episode of INTROSPECTIVE.

Today we have an extraordinary electronic music duo called Ghost Channel. These music producers are linked to internet subcultures and are founders of the Tropical Sadness project in which they actively participate as a duo or separately.

This set contemplates a session of versatile, very ambient, deep, and introspective tracks from the hand of huge influences of Ghost Channel since before the start of their project. 

We can find tracks such as Night Simulator by Ghost Channel, Virtual Reality, and Daylight is Gone by one of Ghost Channel members and one of our earliest invited artists, Forest Healing, and includes Surrender by the Venezuelan artist Jose Cabello.

INTROSPECTIVE Episode 010 - Ghost Channel

Welcome my friends to the eleventh episode of INTROSPECTIVE.

In this opportunity, we are honored with the presence of Daniel Fuentes. A Venezuelan producer and DJ who is oriented to progressive house and organic house sounds.

Having had a particular interest in electronic music since a very young age, Daniel started his Dj career when he was 15 years old as a hobby. It wasn’t until he was 17 years old that he started his professional career, and began touring the country. He became a successful DJ in his hometown and country and decided to start his journey as a music producer impulsed by his love for music.

M.O.S, Volen Sentir, Amonita, Vandelor, Tim Green, Gorje Hewek & Izhevski, Facundo Mohrr or Lee Burridge, also labels such as All Day I Dream, Melody of the Soul, Amulanga, Bekool, Shanti Radio, Mirror, and The Purr or Ruvenzori represent a massive influence to his own sound.

INTROSPECTIVE Episode 011 - Daniel Fuentes

Welcome my friends to the thirteenth episode of INTROSPECTIVE.

Henry Guerrero A.K.A. Henry CE is our today amazing artist! It’s a big pleasure and honor for us to have him on this show because he is the CEO of the first electronic music website in Venezuela Cultura Electronica, which later became a very important reference in Latin America and various countries around the world.

Henry has also produced interesting tracks along with DJ VLAD that were played by important artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Darin Epsilon, Deepend, Laurent Garnier, and others. He also launched 2 record labels, CE Records and Tenebrae. 

He has played with Victoria R, Carlo Lio, and others, including most of the Venezuelan Djs. He has produced massive events in this country presenting artists such as Above and Beyond, Martin Ven Holden, and Mathias Muten.

INTROSPECTIVE Episode 016 - Will Dave

Welcome my friends to the seventeenth episode of INTROSPECTIVE.

As a DJ, José Cabello started inside the Miniteca’s Scenes, until he got his first record deal and was included in the famous Dance Party (2002) series by Christopher Pulgar and Universal Records, around 1998.

For people who do not know what “minitecas” are, they were mobile discotheque experiences that were part of our DJ culture in Venezuela.

He has been involved in almost all the most important DJ projects in this country.  

He was part of the Venezuela Electrónica Saga since the beginning and was part of Talent Warehouse, a prestigious DJ agency in the country, along with Boogie Nights and Partai. 

José Cabello has been an influential producer and specialist in electronic dance music. 

His work has reached international labels such as Stereo Recordings, and as Sound Designer you can find his patches inside the world-famous, Massive X.   His love for music is still on and he considers himself a collector of good music, which is better if is made by Venezuelan artists, he said.

Now he is preparing for new projects in 2024, a very different new one from the last one that made him recognized for his productions in previous years. INTROSPECTIVE Episode 026 - HYB

Welcome my friends to the 27th episode of INTROSPECTIVE

In this session, we have the pleasure of having for a 3rd time to Forest Healing! As usual giving us a set full of eclectic, rhythmic, experimental, and lo-fi sounds that hit amazingly.

He mentioned that in this set he includes some of his favorite songs discovered in the last 10 or 15 years. It is a subtly clubby set at the beginning but it sets a very good tone to move the body more and more as it progresses but practically goes straight to the point, without ceasing to evoke emotions with melodic-nostalgic and dystopian passages; As always he tends to lean into the music he makes and listens to.

It includes music from different artists such as Baltra, Roger Sanchez, and Charles Ramirez, among others. He also included one of his tracks released in 2020 called "It May be Possible To Continue Normally" about the days of quarantine and the chaos we were experiencing.

Frankie Knuckles, often called the Godfather of House Music, was a visionary DJ and producer who played a crucial role in shaping the house music genre. Born in New York City, he moved to Chicago in the 1970s and became the resident DJ at the iconic Warehouse club. With his masterful blend of disco, soul, and electronic sounds, he created timeless classics like Your Love and Baby Wants to Ride.

In 1997, he won a Grammy for his outstanding contributions to dance music, cementing his status as a global music legend.

Frankie Knuckles may no longer be with us, but his music and spirit will forever live in our hearts!
