haven't even finished the original version yet but find myself already reworking it….still in progress, still only using the ESX with single hit samples so far…
expect another translation or two which will al be released as an EP in the somewhat near future.

Secret Prophets - Volatilized (preview mix)

this track started out back in 2006/7 as a remix of the Dogdaze track Skit2. 
recently revisited & quite a bit reworked, it still retains a few moments where the samples shared with me by Dave Huismans (2562 / A Made Up Sound) are still recognizable, but for the most part they have been sculpted into new sounds.

i'm not sure how to categorize this track...a mishmash  of abstract beat science, broken beat, dubstep, glitch....i dunno. any of you know what i should call it?

composed entirely on a Korg ESX with no DAW tweaking or mastering. there are still a few things i need to clean up in this track. finished version to come....

remix of the Bugz in the Attic song "Move Aside" done for a remix contest a few years back. Done on outboard gear - composition on Korg ESX, live electric bass & keys (roland jx-305)
broken beat meets glitchy electronic funk.
the concept i had with this remix was to stick with the original theme at the beginning and then slowly morph it into a few completely different themes which still referenced the original. it kinda ended up being a few remixes done mash up style to make one track.
