with bitter resentment, so I turned into the windy blizzard descendin
down the mountain, hours countin, wishin this winter was endin

I came around a bend in the road and realized that I made it
Saw the welcome sign, and here's a shortcut that I know I'll take it, 
Up the hill between the trees, wait.. don't recognize this feild of snow.
I could've swore this was the path, but where did all the people go

My temperature is dropping, quick and I really need to know,
just where to go, cause I'm confused, and can't turn back my feet are froze. 
but little did I know there was an avalanche a week ago
and where I stand, my family's barried a 100 feet below.
