"After drifting apart for such long years we were able to collide again live at Mostra, Romi on the beats, controlling the energy and Javier on dubs and bass creating an abstract floor to thrive on 2 octatracks, a machinedrum, an sp404 and FXs over a shared mixer with burning incense floating.

Mostra is a gem and having its team and crowd so close while playing was a total highlight forever. 
An unknown sound issue on the recording of the set had us remove the last 40 minutes so we will not remember how the experience finished. Thanks everyone."

Podcast #023 : Kas:st.

Kas:st is the French Parisian duo, owners of Flyance Records.

Their artistic universe fluctuates between hypnotic rhythms, dark and mind-blowing emotions, constantly looking to reach the “mental” aspect that they love in modern techno and in which they identify themselves with.
Following this vision, they have released in November on their own label, the first chapter of a substantial project entitled “Dysphoria I Euphoria”: 2 double EPs with 4 original tracks and 4 remixes on each one. Thus, they have surrounded themselves with artists closed to their musical style : Shlømo and AWB from Taapion Records, Anetha, Blocaus’parties resident, Detroit’s legend Luke Hess, English artists Setaoc Mass and Deepbass, Re:Axis - Monocline Records label owner, and HVL, the resident of BASSIANI’s parties in Georgia.
Following next : releases on Parisian’s label Blocaus Series and Taapion in early 2017.

He's a model for all of us in every sides, musically and humanly.

Jamie McCue is a DJ and label head who lives a quiet life in the forests of British Columbia, Canada. He is the creative director and label head at Silent Season, a music label influenced by his natural surroundings. The sounds of Silent Season grew out of the connection between deep ethereal music and the rain forests of Vancouver Island. A soundtrack to some of the most radiant and aural beauty in the world. Jamie crafts long building sets, allowing the music to become a journey and unfold slowly. INVEINS \ Podcast 028 \ Jamie McCue

Introspective, nostalgic and hypnotic. These are the adjectives that describe the sounds of the young Italian duo Primal Code. 
Gabriele and Davide come from Milano, a musically very active city to form artistically. They immediately jumped into the scene with slow melodies and sumptuous grooves found in their first EP "Eteru", released by Hypnus Records. Last January they reconfirmed themselves with the second EP "Artemisia", this time on Konstrukt, which is getting an excellent response. 
A lot of other their original tracks can be listened on “the Memoir” podcast series, where you can find a focus hour of their whole music.
A personal and musical experience emerges in the songs, creating an atmosphere in which all listeners’ senses are involved and projecting them into a sentimental level. Their music is an expression of a primordial instinct that dwells in all of us.

INVEINS \ Podcast 038 \ Primal Code

natural/electronic.system. are Antonio Giova and Valerio Gomez de Ayala, a dj/producer duo from Naples, Italy. Both inspired by electronic music since the end of the ’90s, they were later influenced by the florid Neapolitan house/techno scene and inspired by the foreign djs coming to perform in Naples clubs. Over the years they became keen on the old and modern sound coming from another Italian city, Rome, where they started connections with local musicians such as Donato Dozzy, Neel and others.
Antonio and Valerio have been a force within techno’s underground since 2004 when they decided to found the natural/electronic.system project, gaining respect through their much revered podcasts for cult websites such as mnml ssgs and Smoke Machine, as well as their international dj sets.
They have a real ability for building their sets, allowing the music to breathe and slowly develop. Their sound explores the deep, psychedelic potentialities of techno, tinged with experimental and dub sensibilities, their track selection is impeccable, as is the pacing of their sets.

INVEINS \ Podcast 047 \ natural/electronic.system.

Plants Army Revolver is the duo formed by Marco Ragni and Valentin Birgan. The pair met in 2013 in Rome, while attending an electronic music course at Fonderie Sonore. After an almost immediate connection, the two promised each other to meet again in the studio for a joint jam session. For a series of reasons, this only ended to happen after two years.
In winter 2014, Marco and Valentin finally managed to get together and brainstorm: this was when the project Plants Army Revolver was born.
From here onwards, it followed several years of recordings and live sessions throughout Italy and Europe.
PAR’s sound is a constant balance between ambient and techno music, with tribal and hypnotic features, always pursuing musical investigation, research and experimentation through the use of modular synths and drum machines.
This is a live set we recorded exclusively for the occasion.

A. Brehme is one of the most familiar names in the recent Brussels club scene. As a DJ and producer he’s a resident at the thriving Technoon parties together with Peter Van Hoesen. Symbiotically combining his two long-standing passions of producing records and sculpting intense sets, which are grounded from the ambient, psychedelic and minimalist perspective of electronic music.

Christian Samsara is a Danish-born DJ and record collector.
His journey into electronic music began back in his early teenagehood and after a few years, he discovered the electronic ambient genre which grew into his big passion and later on, lead him behind the decks.
Since the beginning of his DJ carreer, he performed at a great number of festivals and events accross the world and of course in his homeland, Denmark.
Inspired by the nature and isolated places, his mixes are often a selection of ambient / downtempo / IDM music with deep cinematic soundscapes and layers of organic textures.
He joins Ultimae Records in 2015 and is currently selecting works for an upcoming compilation release.
