“Hey You” is Invent’s debut release as a solo producer. Renowned for his incredible turntablism and DJ skills, he effortlessly blends analogue synthesizers, drum machines 
and a touch of rare vinyl.

The U Know Me Records signee has bridged the gap between new school sound and old school flavour by putting hip hop alongside electronica and hip house. 
That's how he picked up legendary hip hop MC's KRS-One and up and coming NYC rapper - The Kid Daytona. The remixes are made by club scene heroes Azari & III and half of the TNGHT duo - Lunice.

The unique artwork is created by Forin, an artist influenced by the graffiti scene and a cult designer of many covers (O.S.T.R., Pezet, W.E.N.A. etc.) and audio-visual projects.

"Hey You" to pierwsze solowe wydawnictwo wyprodukowane przez Inventa, który dotychczas kojarzony był głównie z nieprzeciętnymi umiejętnościami DJ'skimi i turntablistycznymi.

Płyta została nagrana przede wszystkim przy użyciu analogowych syntezatorów i automatów perkusyjnych oraz wzbogacona wyszukanymi winylowymi samplami. Podopieczny U Know Me zbudował most pomiędzy starą a nową szkołą – klasyczny rap, elektronikę i hip-house uzupełnia o najświeższe brzmienie. Z tej filozofii wynika dobór gości – na mini-albumie występuje zarówno legendarny KRS-One, jak i młody The Kid Daytona, a remixami zajęła się uznana grupa Azari & III, oraz połowa duetu TNGHT – Lunice.

Niepowtarzalną oprawą graficzną projektu stworzył Forin, postać kojarzona z graffiti oraz wieloma okładkami (Pezet, W.E.N.A., O.S.T.R.), czy projektami audiowizualnymi.

Znany z charakterystycznego ruchu scenicznego i nieprzeciętnych umiejętności djskich, które prezentował wraz ze swoimi setami w zbyt wielu miejscach, żeby wymieniać. Nagrywał m.in. z KRS-One i The Kid Daytona. Remixował go chociażby Lunice i Azari & III. Sam z kolei na warsztat brał m.in. produkcje PRO8L3M'u czy Sonar Soula. 
Razem z Mianem tworzy duet Wasabi, który całkiem niedawno wstąpił do Alkopoligamii. Pierwszym owocem tej współpracy było Wasabeats - beat tape zawierający produkcje Spiska Jednego, Małych Miast, Smagalaz i wielu wielu innych.
