The committee “Justice pour Sourour” and the Pacifique Records music platform is launching a series of compilations to raise awareness on the fight against police violence and collect funds to ensure justice for Sourour: beloved sister, mother, daughter, and friend, who died in a police station in Brussels on January 12, 2023. For this first volume we’re bringing together friends and allies: artists of the experimental and bass music scene, each presenting a track.   The fight we’re waging is relentless, we need to keep everyone’s attention so that the struggle doesn’t lose momentum, so that even more people feel concerned and join us, and so that similar violence can never happen again. We want to believe in a united, supportive and politicised music scene. As artists, musicians and cultural actors, and with your support, we can play a precious role in this fight.

Its goal is to preserve and continue musical work in these difficult times. The founder of the label, Yevhen Shevchuk aka Decorodi, believes that electronic music is a whole universe that is imbued with diversity and countless possibilities that must be used correctly. Electronic music is of great importance and influence in our century. Therefore, the newly created label acts as the first stone in the foundation of the memories of home.

Join us on a journey through space and time with the debut album of Jeremiah Soft, the mystical figure now returning to Dalmata Daniel. He made the album between November 2021 and June 2022, a time during which he got closer to nature, long walks, and existing in forests in general. Through 9 tracks and 60 minutes, we can wander around atmospheric universes, walk up the hills and down the paths of the mind of the artist.

Throughout the whole album, a sense of calmness is prevalent regardless of the rapidity of the songs. A dichotomy is created by the soft, acoustic sounding melodies and the quick, abruptly changing, metallic drum patterns. Just like the wilderness, it becomes a balanced system of tranquil harmony and tense alertness.
