Basel deep house native Ben Kaczor joins forces with fellow Swiss musician and artist Niculin Barandun to present their debut collaborative album 'Pointed Frequencies' - a therapeutic potential of binaural beats and solfeggio frequencies, providing listeners with a healing experience through sound.

Stepping away from Kaczor's usual deep house formula, 'Pointed Frequencies' dives into a bath of ambient, microtonal, field recording and electroacoustic techniques, resulting in a truly introspective album for the cold evenings ahead. By employing the dynamics of free improvisation, Kaczor and Barandun create interwoven sound structures, enveloping listeners in a blanket of immersive soundscapes.

Creaked Records gear up to issue their latest double vinyl album release from Swiss producer Nic As Well, previously known under the moniker Lemonick...Our pick from the album is ‘Tickler‘. Opening with precision-drilled drum patterns threaded through a maze of tension-charged frequencies, Nic As Well drags the audience in a Gqom-tinged dimension, ready to be blasted in a jam-packed yard in the townships of Alexandra. As the track unfolds, a maelstrom of stomping kicks collides with FX-warped screams, ending in a cyber aftershock that remains forever like a planetary memory.
