Konduku's appearance on Amenthia feels like something that happened a long time ago, but with 'Slowworm,' he officially makes his label debut, delivering three solo works that solidify his close relationship with the pioneering Basel crew.

'Slowworm' includes three mesmerizing, slow-paced, tension-building mind trips that are a perfect fit for Amenthia. It's an excellent showcase of impeccable rhythms, morphing from sludgy slow beats to introverted intensity--a style for which both Konduku and Amenthia are celebrated.

Konduku's tracks have been a staple in the Amenthia crew's setlists for years. In addition to creating the 2022 release 'Glimmer' by Konsudd, a project with Aa Sudd; and contributing a track on the latest Amenthia x A Walking Contradiction collaboration EP; the partnership has generated a close friendship along the way.

Atmospheric and brooding A-sider "Ambulance Dub" feels like the mystical union of a deadly under the radar 80's digi-dub with a long lost sci-fi synth soundtrack. Sleng Teng meets Bladerunner Uptown...Flip it over for "The Bigger Tutti" which is classic Holy Tongue at their very best capturing the stripped back DIY energy of post-punk delivered alongside a heavy as lead dub bassline which combines with the characteristically incredible percussion to create a mesmerisingly deep and funky groove. Nearly three years after its inception, Padua-based imprint Wetware Echo returns with 'Ghostform', the latest transmission from co-founder and local alchemist Coeden...Our pick from the album, ‘Slow Ray’, creeps into existence with noise-cloaked kick-drums submerged in a maze of cavernous textures. As the tension builds, Coeden summons EBM’s machine-funk heritage, twisting its rhythmic DNA into something raw. The track’s 117 BPM mechanical chug unfurls like a slow-motion dance of some post-human ritual, laser-lit signals flickering in the periphery. Equal parts hypnotic and unhinged, it’s a procession of synthetic spirits marching through the ruins of a past that never was.
