Fabio Vinuesa returns to District 91 to deliver the fourth installment of the label. A five-track EP with essential club material.

On side A we have "Analog Activity" a track focused on the dancefloor with speedy drums, raw basslines and dreamy pads. "Acid Pepa" immerses us into retro style using classic synths and acid hits.

Side B begins with "Self-Programming" heating our instinct showing the most darkest track on the record."Corrupted Data" bring us the electro-cybernetic sound mixing acid basslines and vocal-glitches from Google´s I.A. And finally closing the album “28045” with an evocative ambient sequence.

2021 has unarguably been a great year for Electro both with overall visibility for the public as well as with the sheer number of quality releases being put out over the course of the year. With a newfound buzz surrounding my beloved genre, I'm hardly keeping up! I feel like It was a busy year both production-wise and promotion-wise for @DVSNME and @DarkScienceElectro respectively, however, I found some time to put together a mix of my favorite 21 tracks from 2021. This 5 track EP (the second installment of 'The Orbitants' VA compilation series) isn't short on heat with songs from Heinrich Dressel, Galaxian, Foreign Sequence, Jensen Interceptor and Lake Haze. The track selected by @DVSNME to premiere is the brooding 'System Glitch' by Lake Haze. This virus-infected track features spooky pads triggering an edgy arpeggio, creating an almost anxiety-inducing vibe for the dance floor. 

This limited (300) red vinyl is released on June 18th

Veteran French producer, Maelstrom made his Cultivated Electronics debut in 2018 with ‘ECZO EP’.  Now more than two years later and following a new album on RAAR, he returns with another EP, this time for CE’s vinyl-only subsidiary, Cultivated Electronics Ltd.

Joan-Mael Péneau has been making music for over fifteen years, with a history of aliases and side projects, illegal raves thrown in warehouses, fields and basements, but he soon came into his own under his Maelstrom moniker, releasing music on the likes of RAAR (the label he co-founded with Louisahhh in 2015), Cultivated Electronics, Central Processing Unit, Mechatronica, Private Persons and Discos Atónicos.

Though his name suggests chaos, Maelstrom’s music delivers intention, focus and precision that are evident on his ‘Expression Directe’ EP, which features four new tracks of deep and expressive electro-funk.
