Milan-based record label Alzaya continues to push the boundaries of the unexpected with 'Yokai Parade', the latest offering from Italian producer Volantis, joined by the ethereal voices of Hiroko...Our pick is Eden Burns' take on 'Yokai Parade' - a spectral reimagining that opens with Hiroko's space-echoed vocals, reverberating like a superlunary conversation between ancestors and the spectral forces that haunt the rails. It's a track that both unsettles and invites, as carefully layered percussion and deep-rooted kick-drums carve through the atmosphere, while Volantis’ slithering, acid-bent basslines snake their way through the mix. It's less a compilation, more a clandestine meeting of audio agents plotting a reroute of global frequencies...For our premiere, we shine a light on Globemaster’s 'Irritilas' – a slow-motion chugger that feels like it’s been smuggled out of some sacred dance ceremony deep in the Sierra Madre. Built at a slo mo 110 BPM pace, it slinks through your psyche with rubbery bass, ritualistic percussion and arpeggios that glisten like morning dew on obsidian. The breakdown hits like hallucinatory visions, conjuring forgotten myths and almost-extinct cultures via a sequencer of infectious arpeggios.

Unsighted is the Brooklyn based project of Nicolás Sierra ,and Mutante returns with a new sonic manifesto: an EP that channels the rough energy of EBM, the analog sensibility of Minimal Synth and the hypnotic pulse of New Beat.

This EP is a distorted time capsule, where corrosive basslines, martial rhythms and analog synths coexist in constant tension. It is a statement without nostalgia but with retro DNA, designed for sweaty dancefloors, smoky basements and minds that vibrate on the fringes of the mainstream.

Foreboding EP is a collection of tracks that don't ask for permission, they hit you straight on, like a post-industrial alarm on eternal loop.

A twisted and acerbic collision of breaks, electro and UK rave. 'Cruising' has alarm sounds and blistering synth textures running through saw-tooth bass and big breaks. 'PIGMENTOR' is all acidic and chuggy while 'The Looper" is heads down, feet marching electro-techno. 'Good Bye' brings some electrified disco futurism to the party for a more colourful and outwardly expressive closer.
