A DJ and producer from California, Kerri LeBon fuses her love of techno, industrial and EBM with a modern approach and a vocal delivery that can only be hers. She has released tracks with Nation, and had mixes hosted by Intergalactic FM (as a guest of Knekelhuis), Phormix, Digital Tsunami (a split with Silent Servant) and Jealous God (the CD with Issue 5). She is currently working on several projects, including a collaboration with In Aeternam Vale (their track, "The Voyeur," is included here) and readying her first solo material. A remix for Alexey Volkov is set to be released on 12" for Stellar Remnant this Winter. She is the host and resident DJ of an intimate electronic music night, titled Discipline.

In Hour 2 we hand over to Elena Colombi from Italy who rrelocated to London in 2008 and set up a successful series of parties that made her name on the underground scene. Now a respected DJ and radio host on NTS, Elena’s musical style taps into a wide array of influences and inspirations. For her, knowing and feeling music doesn’t mean specialising in one particular genre. Never one to pander to trends, she embraces the best elements of the past and future, paying particular attention to obscure and undiscovered artists. Industrial rhythms, pulsing techno, ambient atmospheres, synthesised sounds, freaky disco, balearic love affairs, proto-house, and other addictive world music — anything goes and is perfectly balanced in her dynamic sets, whether on radio, in a club, or in her own collection of diverse yet coherent mixes. She had this to say;
" A dig intro the darker, harsher, rougher and more twisted sounds of my collection. Most are current favourites, a couple are classics you might have heard me play out over the years. I hope you like!"

Renowned for her sweat sets drawn from a melting pot of influence, the 99cts RCRDS label head and Rinse France host's sound in the electronic world has developed from its roots with an attitude that is ever present amongst rhythms of Acid, Ghetto Tech, Electro and Techno. Miley has evolved in a universe where borders and intermediaries have long disappeared, exploring the world both digitally and on the road while touring the four corners of the globe.

Teasing what's to come this weekend, Miley delivers a series of deep and propulsive,  body-flinging, lose yourself techtronics. Smokey and reverberating, the mix ventures into the industrial, acid and ravey shades of techno - proper early hours madness!
