@riccardoschiro opening track ‘Cashmere Complex‘ softly intertwines ligneous synthesizers – recalling the sound of watery streams clashing – whilst plucked strings and a padded trumpet take over the refrain. Reverb has an ever-present role here, imparting the track with a four-dimensional feeling, enhanced by cascading sounds of a paradisiac foreshore, crying seagulls and squishy cymbals. Splash!

Over two years ago Leonardo Martelli released his first EP on Antinote, 'Menti Singole' - an arresting four-tracker on which each cut bears the name of an imaginary male figure, with its own idiosyncrasies and distinct mood. Today the Italian producer returns with the second volume to the diptych, 'Menti Singole Vol. 2', this time gathering four numbers named after female names.

The second NJ is from Malmö's @prinsemanuel [Fasaan, Fri Form], geezer and master of many trades. First up is the wonky, rugged flanger jam Okända Skäl (Reasons Unknown) then comes the spesh slow burner Ensamma Stunder (Lonely Moments). This doozy of a 7" is very much about his place of birth in Skåne. With the art inspired by a cave painting and a megalithic monument from the iron age close to his mum's house. Life goes in circles…
