I've had remixes of various old DD tunes knocking about on my computer for years.  Since I finally figured out how to "finish" them, I thought it about time to unleash some of them.

This will be a continuing series, hence the Vol.1.  I reckon there will be at least 2-3 more, then I will have exhausted my collection of incomplete projects and remix parts from the early era of DD.

Low Tape, a rising star from Russia, is one of the producers currently making a name for himself while championing the recently refreshed electro sound. Finding a home for his newest "Walking the Streets" EP on London's Of Paradise imprint, a label with a focus on the tougher side of electronic music, the Russian producer effortlessly squeezes into their limited but already distinguished catalogue. Blending heavy hitting drums, lo-fi textures and acid lines, Low Tape is right at home amongst cohorts Trudge, Baltra, Shedbug and others who have made an appearance on the label.

Our premiere today is the A2 and is aptly titled A Day of Electrical Revolution. This uptempo jam is made strictly for the late night dancefloor. Hard hitting kicks and a saw-y bassline are the backbone of this rave-inspired jam which would be a perfect fit for a big old warehouse. Squelchy synth lines and deep, textured atmospheres bring a euphoric energy, curiously bringing back memories of some old psytrance records, not the first time we've noticed this in recent productions. As music goes in cycles and sounds of yore are often recycled, this natural amalgamation of the old and new is to be expected, and, more often than not is also quite refreshing.

A couple months after the drop of his acclaimed latest EP - 'It's Alive' - on Helena Hauff imprint Return To Disorder, Hamburg's electro wunderkind @lfttrax enlists on Kluentah's @zementrecordings with a straight out frantic four-track mind-bender.

Next up for @DarkScienceElectro premieres we have a producer from The Netherlands calling himself @LakeHaze from an upcoming VA release from Italian label @FU-ME-Rec

This 5 track EP (the second installment of 'The Orbitants' VA compilation series) isn't short on heat with songs from Heinrich Dressel, Galaxian, Foreign Sequence, Jensen Interceptor and Lake Haze. The track selected by @DVSNME to premiere is the brooding 'System Glitch' by Lake Haze. This virus-infected track features spooky pads triggering an edgy arpeggio, creating an almost anxiety-inducing vibe for the dance floor. 

This limited (300) red vinyl is released on June 18th
