To coincide with Ramjac Corporation's live reel-to-reel in-store at Inverted Audio Record Store on Saturday 4th May (5-8pm), 'Bibec Studio Extracts 1994 - 1995' is an exclusive cassette packing five potent dabs of acid house, experimental and dub electronics.

Side-A features three extracts recorded at Bibec Studios in Farringdon plus 'Definitely Dub', a heady dub collaboration with MC Milo Lapis - who provided vocals on Ramjac's iconic 90's track 'Cameroon Massif!'. Side-B features a vibrant 29-minute live jam 'Emergency Override'.

Designed by Tom Durston the inside cover features a photo of Ramjac's live reel-to-reel performance at the Inverted Audio curated stage Campfire Headphase at Farr Festival 2018. The cassette will be on sale at the free to attend event located in Peckham's Holdrons Arcade.

Alexander Bogdanov's debut on Mood Series with Less Is More marks a significant entry into the realm of dub techno. As the album progresses, it delves deeper into the darker realms of dub techno with 'LIM Dub o4.' Here, swirling chords evoke a sense of foreboding, adding a layer of tension to the overall atmosphere of the record. 'LIM Dub o5' offers a shift in tempo, introducing a more up-tempo version where altered chord patterns inject a fresh dynamic into the mix. 'LIM Dub o6,' explores heavier beats and deeper bass notes, further enriching the sonic palette of the album. The liquid-like quality of the chords adds depth to the track, creating a sense of immersion that is both hypnotic and captivating. Closing out the album is 'LIM Dub o7,' perhaps the most introspective moment on the record. Here, the chords take on a melodic quality, imbuing the track with a sense of serenity and tranquility. It's a fitting conclusion to an album that embodies the ethos of "less is more."

Drumfunk/braindance don dgoHn (John Cunnane) returns to Love Love for a collaborative 4 track EP, ‘Talk To The Planets’, alongside avant-garde experimentalist Danish friend Oliver Duckert. Oliver is an electronic evangelist and founding member of chameleonic cyberjazz group Badun, created in Århus, Denmark, but often found tuning in and out of the space-time hyperlink. John who needs no introduction at this point makes his first appearance on the label since widely-lauded 2020 album ‘Undesignated Proximate’ and follow-up 2022 remix project which featured an array of peers such as Skee Mask, Djrum, Meat Beat Manifesto and Equinox. 

What results here is a bubbling platter of otherworldly sound design full of warmth (and the slickest drum-work going!) that fully imbibes both artists’ individual songwriting sensibilities, striking a curious balance between organic improvisation and meticulously detailed programming. 

Sonically the EP could be described as hi-resolution psychedelic drum n bass as much as it could alien future-jazz, detailed and rich with mad grooves just beneath the surface. Structurally the tracks are unpredictable but not jarring, with a free-flowing quality and a pace that feels like meandering at lightspeed. Way too immersive for casual listening, this is music for getting lost in the stars. Like using arcane beat science at a ruffneck drum circle to astral project through the multiverse.
