With its 10th edition, Dalmata Daniel’s split series brings together two artists who have both left their mark on the label’s compilations, now presenting their first full releases on the imprint. Anatolian Weapons and The Spy approach electronic music from different angles, one rooted in hypnotic techno rituals, the other in raw electro and post-punk energy. Both craft sounds that thrive in the shadows of the dancefloor.

On the A-side, Anatolian Weapons delivers three cold, hypnotic cuts. "Trapped" opens with heavy EBM percussion and a buzzkill bassline, setting a tense, mechanical tone. "Further Spiralling Down" sinks deeper into darkness with a grinding low end, tight drums, and electro-tinged claps, forming the side’s relentless highlight. "Apathy Through Shock" closes with pounding, catatonic rhythms and a mournful, otherworldly melody, pushing the listener into disorienting depths.

Flipping over, The Spy’s raw, electro-driven energy takes hold. "Same Blur" channels sharp electro beats with a punkish sneer and cosmic synth lines. "Falling", featuring The Spy’s own vocals, leans into melancholic new wave, pairing bouncy rhythms with bittersweet melodies. The closing "Pretending" drifts into the darkest corners, offering low-slung, haunted electro layered with distant, spectral harmonies.

For the 33rd release of the Acid Avengers series, we invited two projects made by four veterans of the french electronic scene. Fondzyo, a new duo composed of John Lord Fonda and Kazyo (half of Teenage Bad Girl), is delivering here its first release. Nomenklatür, the pair formed by the founders of Elektrofon, is already known for bomb releases on Clivage records and Thisbe recordings. On this new split EP, both projects offer a 303 journey made with mental groove, deep rythms and of course some pure acid techno. Five tracks designed for the floor that are gonna kick your ass !

Next we leave you the description of the release_

Új Bála returns to Dalmata Daniel with DDE10, his third release on the label and his first since 2019. In the meantime, he has appeared on compilations and performed frequently at the label’s events before relocating to Brussels, where he has been based for several years. This new EP bridges the past and present of his sound: half of the tracks were written in Budapest in 2018, the other half in Brussels in 2024.

The four pieces form a skewed narrative of fractured club music, from the bubbling, spooky, melodic fragments of Kalt Kult, through the bizarre, schizophrenic interlude of Episode, to the sharp, minimalist leftfield techno of Chaton Rouge, and closing with the broken structures of Titok, which resonate most closely with his latest style.

As with every entry in the DDE series, this 10th episode comes in a highly limited edition 8" lathe-cut (25 copies only) with risograph-printed artwork designed by Daniel Jani (Studio Jetski) and printed by BPZines.

In an intricate lattice of ever-evolving electro exploration, Samuel Van Dijk (@mohlao) is back on Delsin with a new EP. Under his VC-118A alias, the Helsinki based producer presents a richly textured, cinematic strain of machine funk that reaches beyond dancefloor functionality to test the expressive potential locked within electro's crisp rhythmic framework.

There's a melancholic mood hovering over Avian as Van Dijk allows a subtle edge of distortion to creep into his flickering drum programming. The end result is a pensive sound that touches on the moodiness of orchestral composition, unfurling patiently across extended run times without losing focus. Kelley Polar - In Time (Dj Schwa extended Edit)

This was a major classic for clubs when it came out in the late 70's. For some strange reason it was never given a remix nor 12" release although ever self respecting DJ was begging for it. Everyone had to play the rather short LP version and there were many edits of it. The song became popular again in the mid 90's when Chicago DJ Sneak sampled it for his "You can't hide from your bud" club hit. You can notice that all the musicians follow the bassline, playing the same hook. This was a typical Philly Sound signature and a another idea that way into House music and the new millenium. RIP Teddy Pendergrass.
