The releases on Curle roughly go anywhere between deep house and solid techno, but Hiver’s deep techno sound is probably what I appreciate most myself if I had to choose. Melodic, floating and based on traditions but without sounding like something you already heard too often, that’s about how I would describe the Italian duo’s second Curle EP. Their first one got played by Sven Väth and Efdemin just to name a few. Hiver hold a residency at Milan’s Dude Club, but in the meantime have played everywhere from Dimensions festival to Panorama Bar.

Pinkman welcomes Maenad Veyl to its roster of artists for his debut release in the form of the labels second tape. 'Make Them Remember' sets the gloomy mood with clattering percussion and ghostly synth lines. The messy drum patterns of Taiko Death Rhythm' are breaking up the cold mist. The A-side of the cassette is completed by the melodic slow burning energy of 'D.M.M.R.M'. On the other side 'State ov Apprehension' and 'Sotto Gli Occhi Tutti' further darken the character, to then pave way for 'In Ruins' to finish the damage with it's ethereal, yet soul ripping guitar riffs.

Finnish sound scientist Aleksi Perälä presents ‘Paradox’, a double EP landing 15th of December on трип. Using a microtonal tuning method known as Colundi – with which his work is now synonymous - he guides us through a ritualistic journey of ten formidable tracks.

Glistening scales cascade over peculiar tones. Aleksi Perälä explores the powers of an alternative tuning system in dance-floor structures, tapping into the veiled potential of his sound palette with stunning physical consequences.

Saccharine and mysterious, ‘Paradox’ channels elements of Electro, Techno and Italo, ultimately achieving a transcendental form of its own.

Back after outings on Boysnoize Records, Dark Entries and Super Rhythm Trax, @cardopusher's latest for Hungarian label @dalmata-daniel finds him operating in his area of expertise - smack in the middle of acid-kissed EBM, proto-techno motifs and Detroit-bred electro territories.

The seventh release of the MSQ label is related to the label owner Moralez together with the legendary techno/ hardcore/ EBM producer The Horrorist. Their casual acquaintance at one of the night underground parties in Neukölln (Berlin) led to that future collaboration. EP contains three versions of the track “Sleep when you die”: the original version with the lyrics and vocals by Oliver Chestler aka The Horrorist; extended (DJ friendly) version without any vocals; and the “chaos effect” variation in the best traditions of the early hardcore techno.
