The one and only DMX Krew is back once again with yet another superb release, this time on the emerging and already exciting No Static/Automatic label. This time out he blends electro with bass, acid and techno and opens up with the squelchy 303s and prickly beats of 'Mutated Brain Process' before 'Electric Mutant' layers up whirring machines and jerking drum patterns. 'Non-Euclidean Coordinates' is a high-speed and physical workout with low end menace and the superb closer 'Depressed Mutant' might just be the best of the lot with its withering sci-fi motifs and alien sounds, kinetic electro beats and otherwordly vibes.

FÜR ELISE is a young Berlin band that emerged from Killekill's inclusive music project Ick Mach Welle. The band consists of African-German Elise Neumann on the microphone and
the legendary Turkish-Finnish music producer and crooner Khan of Finland, elementary component of the queer scene for over 30 years. Elise impresses with her soulful voice, incredible stage presence and freestyling skills, Khan with his over-all beauty and brilliance on the production. The two met for the first time in late 2023, clicked immediately and here they are with a whole stage show and this release on the young label IMW in their luggage.
The EP combines 3 tracks of electronic dub with quite a range in style: The title track Paradiso comes along in a very tropical fashion and has almost mainstream appeal. The lyrics reflect on Elise’s longing back to Barbados where she was brought up - the classic paradise with white sandy beaches and palms. She wants to go back, but she also makes quite clear that compared to Barbados Berlin is the place she actually wants to be at. It’s a
love/hate relationship between her and Barbados as well as Berlin.
The second track Boombastic is more on the dub techno dance floor tip. The lyrics also reflect on Elise’s roots, this time with a pumping kick drum laying underneath, which matches the anger potential this topic seems to bring up in Elise.
The third track Chemical Reaction is the most abstract piece and tells a story of a failed love on top of a dark and melancholic dub track.

IMW is a new label linked to the Berlin project Ick Mach Welle, which aims to push for inclusivity in electronic music and culture. Expect frequent releases covering a wide range of styles.

During the opening scene, the track starts with a contemplative soundscape enhanced by secluded river flows, soon accompanied by a commotion of modular synths, proclaiming a common desire for a heaven-like planet filled with abundant life.

Returning to Ransom Note Records sub-label, Insult to Injury, Timothy Clerkin is back with incendiary new record, Fading EP. An overt, Acid-Techno analogue assault on the senses, all tracks were performed live in Clerkin's vintage synthesiser recording facility. Backed with a vinyl exclusive remix from the mighty Posthuman (not available digitally) and limited to a run of 100, hand stamped 12”s, you’ll need to be fleet of foot to get your hands on it!

Titular track, Fading, features the inimitable vocal talents of Brighton based Shoegazers HANYA’s front person Heather Sheret, whose heavenly articulation offsets the high voltage, rhythmic battering that opens the record. Booming 909’s propel us forward as we’re launched headlong into the rave maelstrom where squelchy bass lines and breakbeats grapple with trancelike strings for dominance.

Next out of the gate, Sigma hurls itself from the cocoon and slaps us around the face, hugging it tightly like an Acid-Techno Xenomorph. A face melting melange of retro sounds & futurism, it’s underpinned by the nihilistic vocal sample that belies Clerkin’s antiestablishment Punk musical past. Hold onto your hats and remember to BREATHE!

ITI Records are very excited to have head honcho of the I Love Acid parties, Balkan Vinyl and record producer extraordinaire, Posthuman on remix duties. Never one to disappoint, he ‘breaks’ Fading down into tiny pieces and rebuilds it in his own image. Taking inspiration from early Hardcore and Acid aesthetics, we’re treated to a proper dance floor workout of 808s, Rave Hoovers and breakbeats.

Rounding off, Collapsed Lung is a slightly more introspective affair. Jam packed with glitched drums and sequenced, mechanical tones, it builds towards an etherial climax. This slightly distant, intangible and dreamlike number glides out of view just as quickly arrived, leaving us feeling incongruously all warm and fuzzy, after the absolute clobbering that opened the record.

Dalmata Daniel label continues its lathe cut series with the release of four consecutive episodes, welcoming back Betonkust from the Netherlands on the first 7-inch. These tracks revisit the raw analog sound reminiscent of his previous releases on the label, an instantly recognizable trademark of his sound from the first listen.

The single kicks off with "Bill And His Cat," a cute and playful electro track, followed by the lullaby-esque synthwave masterpiece "Second Rerun." In addition to these, the physical release includes a bonus track previously released digitally on one of the label's fundraiser compilations
