Oriental acid, frenzied samples, low hanging film noir suspense. This is DALO. Or not. She is many. Dry maniac downbeat is her craft. Or dark-ish pop-not-pop. There is dub, trance, techno, too. She is known for releases on labels like ESP Institute, WARNING, or Tresor. She is part of bands like Init. She played them all, those clubs, that matter, and those that matter more. Live. Alone. As an artist. With a band. Here she comes with her first album. On the R.i.O. sphere. Her homebase. A trusted zone for experimentation. She brings “Duster”. Seven tunes twisted in different dreams. It were as if he couldn't find his grip as the world spun recklessly all around him. All he wished was that he might find something to cling on to which might cement him to the ground and bring him back to reality. Instead everything was blurry and his grip, non existent. Old butter hands was out for the night and there was no stopping the ride...

He wandered between the people and the places, the faces and the strangers, the dancers and the wanderers lost within the midst of the night. For they too had lost their grip. We all had really, the world was a big buttery pool within which we all swam beneath the cloak of darkness.

The Anta Doma project was born from a first collaboration for Sketchy Lines Records, gathering two producers and DJs based in Lille (FR) and Brussels (BE). Combining their influences, the two drummers oscillate between percussive grooves and deep atmosphere for a trip between space and caves, supported by break, techno and bass music rhythms.

Outside of a collaborative EP with Pete Prezzano in 2021, the last few years have been spent tending to his growing family and slowly chipping away at a new SiP (@sip_groop) release. The wait is over, as Jimmy Lacy has partnered again with @not-not-fun-1 on a sprawled out yet focused collection, 'Leos Ultras', described as "a technicolor slideshow of keys, clarinet, kalimba, sax, melodica, flute, tambourine, and drumbox".
