Hailing from Brusque, Brazil, Ricardo Hingst (known artistically as HNGT) is quickly becoming one of the country’s most exciting prospects. Raising his profile as a DJ and producer with performances at D EDGE, Elfortin, Terraza and Surreal, and releases on the likes of Createch and now Victor Ruiz’s VOLTA imprint, HNGT is well on his way to being one of Brazil’s leading electronic names.

HNGT’s debut on VOLTA is an impressive three-tracker showcasing a depth in musicality with a firm grasp on modern techno flavours. Beginning with the title track, ‘Rebel’ dives straight into hard-hitting rhythms and rippling resonance. Firm drums and driving hat grooves pave the way for an onslaught of ethereal- laced melodies embraced by a soulful female vocal hook, blending in and out of atmospheric breakdowns to carve out a stunning opening track.

‘Artificial Awareness’ comes next, bringing racy ominous vibes from the outset. Another impressive display of synth-led techno is on display here, building around gritty electronic textures, glitchy fills and a robotic vox to deliver a darkened peak-time stomper.

‘Future World’ closes the release with a moody interplanetary persona, highlighting more of HNGT’s boundless creativity and writing skills. A constant ebb and flow of climatic builds and potent drops with progressively expansive soundscapes and futuristic nuances throughout to round off a profound debut.

Sisko Electrofanatik's record label, Gain Records welcomes the return of Roberto Pagliaccia who drops a dark and smouldering peak time techno release, which alongside his two original tracks, also features a remix by Mark Reeve.

Roberto Pagliaccia is a Gain Records regular who with this release, features original material on the imprint for the 6th time, and he has also released exhilarating techno tracks via other respected outlets such as Future Techno Records. Roberto Pagliaccia is an Italian artist from Firenze, who produces an eclectic range of styles. His techno tracks fuse explosive percussion and intense synth lines with dark atmosphere.

On remix duty, Mark Reeve is a revered techno artist from the UK who now lives in Germany. He first burst onto the scene as a young prodigy discovered by Sven Väth, and has spent the last decade establishing himself as one of the world's most dynamic techno producers. He has released on record labels ranging from Terminal M to Drumcode, and also runs his own imprint, SubVision. Mark Reeve's hypnotic style focuses on stripped-back percussion and mesmerising synth lines.

The release's title track, "Nobody House" opens proceedings with a hammering kick drum and rumbling bassline forming a foundation for its hard-hitting groove. It's tantalising arpeggio slowly filters in as the track progresses towards the breakdown's captivating vocals, before the drums slam back in and the track lifts to the next level, with the help of spiralling synths and tense pads.

Mark Reeve's remix of "Nobody House" toughens the percussion, and adds an electric bassline with pulsating energy. He also extends the breakdown section to build heightened suspense before the drums hit back in to deliver a moment of maximum impact.

"Happens Illusion" is the second of the two original tracks, and it combines acid synths with soulful vocal textures with high-octane percussion. It's a hands in the air slice of techno with uplifting energy shrouded by dark atmosphere.

An early adolescence of solitude found within the immersion in 2000's trance, happy hardcore, drum and bass, and luminaries like Moby, Aphex Twin, and Burial, began the start of a sonic story. The story of Invertist can now be heard.

Born in mid-1990s suburban Yorkshire, Invertist is the UK's newest addition to techno, aiming to push the artistic boundaries of techno.

While digesting the global party scene in the UK, Netherlands, and Ibiza and learning from esteemed producers like Rudosa, Carl Bee and Jakob Gille Invertist has been quietly positioning himself to begin his pursuit.

Having emerged first onto the scene in 2022, under the alias Hidden, with a 2 track EP on Pig & Dan's label, Elevate, Invertist now returns with new music and a refreshed skillset, curated under the watch of his Berlin-based mastering engineer and mentor, Philip Röder.
