Legendary German techno duo Pan-Pot announce their brand-new project ‘FORTE’, a collection of ten singles. Each track presents individually, each telling their own unique story influenced by the duo’s ever-evolving sound over the years - something that has kept them perpetually current. The culmination also marks a milestone 20th anniversary for the duo, serving as a resounding reminder of why they have been at the forefront of the scene for over two decades.

’FORTE’ meaning strong, translates all the good and bad times we have had, in a way that reflects on our sound. It's a journey of reflection, reinvention, and inspiration from our travels around the world and the people we have met along the way. The tracks emulate the past, present, and future, in a range of styles, but most importantly they are all tracks which we love and enjoy playing. Since its inception in 2022 - Victor Ruiz’ Lisbon based Volta Records has platformed electronic music that carries a certain, singular balance between melodic delicacy and percussive power.
The imprint has played host to artists such Tao Andra, Alex Stein and Lisa May and next up is a formidable 2-tracker from rising Rome based artist GIULIA (IT).
'Colors In Your Eyes' reflects the Volta canon perfectly as it sets a swooning, heartstring vocal soaring over the top of a thunderous kick. Bass synths saw through minor-key chord shifts while hats and claps ring out like polished swords.
'You Are Never Alone' follows up with another pacy Prog bass line that's set galloping over a powerful, tightly-woven groove. A dilated breakdown pulls the track apart, gradually dismantling energy that builds up again slow toward an arresting vocal. This sends a signal out to the floor before the drop lands with ruinous force. This is raw, somatic Techno at its finest - music that targets body and soul and is certain to cause bedlam on the dance floor.

KHA025 witnesses the return of Decibel Place to Khazad records for his first full length EP on the label.

Liverpool's Decibel Place is an artist who has recently emerged on to the Northern UK and wider techno scene with a flurry of exceptionally produced releases. With a focus on utilising powerful, energetic and rolling percussive elements within his tracks, his sound is an ideal fit for Khazad.

The "Broken Neck EP" is an exploration of energy and movement through repetitive call and response. Each track is able to develop a hypnotic like feeling but with a percussive toughness and vitality that primes them for a dark warehouse or club environment.

Also featured on the EP is a shadowy reimagining of "Tekowah" by Decadence who returns to the label following a fantastic submission on the recent Various Artists compilation. With this remix, Decadence maintains the raw driving energy of the original track but implements a gloomy atmosphere and intensity.
