INVICTUS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present GRAVE INFESTATION's highly anticipated debut album, Persecution of the Living.

Formed in 2018, GRAVE INFESTATION wasted no time in making their presence in the underground felt far and wide. Recorded as a power-trio, the band's debut demo, Infesticide, was originally self-released in late 2018 and then picked up for wider release by INVICTUS. On evidence of that opening 23-minute salvo, it's not difficult to understand why: GRAVE INFESTATION wielded a gutsfucking sound that near-effortlessly synthesized every slice of darkness of death metal's pivotal late '80s era. Death metal diehards took notice, and then the second demo, Infestation of Rotting Death, consolidated that enviable standing, now revealing the band as a quartet.

Alas, as doom enveloped the earth, GRAVE INFESTATION was lurking in wait, brewing their full-length debut. And it arrives with the force of a nuclear payload in the form of Persecution of the Living. Reprising a couple re-recorded songs from the preceding demo, the presciently titled Persecution of the Living wastes no fucking time in getting in and absolutely flaying the listener alive. The foundation remains much the same - from the malignant tendrils Morbid Angel cast across the Tampa scene to the buzzsaw bulldoze of the contemporaneous Swedish scene, the ancient foundation of Necrovore, Repulsion, and Sadistic Intent to Carcass' godly first two albums - but GRAVE INFESTATION exhibit a frightening clarity in their jackhammering attack. Some could call it a "clean(er)" iteration of their strident sound; others might view that cauldron with focus and finesse, as eerie melodies occasionally bubble up from the muck; but whatever tag you put on it, Persecution of the Living represents a professional-yet-powerful statement to the wider metal world. Darkness, death, DOOM: herald the grand arrival of GRAVE INFESTATION!

In the fine tradition of Australian Death/Thrash Metal comes a brand new band, MAGES TERROR. Combining vicious vocals with razor sharp riffing that does not relent in its attack! The first track reveal, 'The Vomited Harvest', from the upcoming debut full length 'Damnation's Sight' gives the punch to the gut that all Death/Thrash should deliver!

Arising from Vancouver’s potent extreme metal mire, REVERSED initially materialized in 2015 through a dedication to the SPIRIT of real DEATH METAL and a rabid OBSESSION with DEATH. Guided by more passion than execution, this collection of well-honed ghouls quickly fell into a sepulchral trance to channel a singular form of necrotic, razor-lined heavy metal devilry.  

Dying to crack open the tomb, REVERSED harnessed and released the Widow Recluse demo tape into the wild in 2018 via Muerto En La Cruz and the recently closed Temple of Mystery. Showcasing the band’s gestating lunacy, the demo revealed shades of black, death, and thrash violently assembled into a refined vision of chaotic mayhem - a runaway train barely remaining on the rails. Due to wild demand, this was immediately followed by vinyl and CD versions on Temple of Mystery in 2019.

Afterward, a string of live shows displayed the wretched results across Western Canada and the USA, playing alongside Aura Noir, Morbid Saint, Antediluvian, Witch Vomit, and more. What followed was a period of cloistered writing and conspiring while the world writhed in torment by the festering plague.

Two rough tracks destined for the eventual full length album were recorded in the REVERSED ritual space and released on limited tape by Bent Window Productions. This was to be fully realized on the REVERSED debut LP Wildly Possesed, heralding the dawn of a more aggressive and voracious worship of the ultimate extreme metal essence - 1986 - where labels of DEATH, BLACK, SPEED and THRASH were interchangeable.

The album was recorded at the infamous Fiasco Bros. Studios where Blasphemy recorded their legendary albums, mixed and mastered by Marco S. Vermiglio at The Forge Music Productions, and unleashed by infamous Irish underground devotee Invictus Productions in Spring 2024.
