Ryan “Wolfgang” Zimmerman is an artist, engineer and producer from the Carolinas. Affectionately known around Southeastern music circles as “Wolfie”, he started playing and recording music at an early age. 

As a teenager he started getting hired drumming and engineering in the studio. Before graduating he saved up money from gigs and purchased his own equipment. The scrappy start-up studios consisted of double-wide trailers, basements, storage units and welcomed a wide array of mostly independent artists. 

Zimmerman connected with a long lost biological cousin Christian Chidester and a high school friend Keon Masters to start what would become their promising rock quintet Brave Baby. The group put out two LPs, toured the U.S. for years and their indie bop “Soothsayer” racked up millions of plays after they went on hiatus. Good news though, new LP in 2024. 

‘Wolfie’ has produced alongside local, regional and even a few internationally touring artists like Band of Horses and Susto for a decade plus. Success as a producer has gotten him in rooms with the likes of Rick Rubin as well as working with studio legends Dave Fridmann, Kennie Takahashi and Dave Sardy to name a few. 

In between sessions Zimmerman began a collection of solo and collaborative songs as “Invisible Low End Power”. August of 2023 marked the release of the saturated singles “HyperFlex (Golden State of Mind)” and “The Force” from their long awaited Acid-Rock & Galactic-Funk LP “SPACEPRINTS” out 10/17/23
