Kristian started this final S3-based remaster of his Arlesdale Railway Theme all the way back in 2020. (Whew, time feels like it's flown by way faster than it has! XD)
As you all likely know by now, he's moved away from Thomas music in a general sense (and not that long ago either.) After rewatching some of Silver Band's Thomas & The Railtours series however, I got inspired out of nowhere; so with Kristian's permission, I took the abandoned project file and gave it the few final touches it needed (and some flourishes of my own.)
Kristian did a great job, and I'm incredibly happy with how this final mix turned out. Hope you guys enjoy! :) --Chris

So! A lot's happened since I last posted here, huh? XD
Anyhow uhhhhh I was *extremely* bored one day and decided to update this old relic of a remaster, which will be turning *4 years old* this year lmaoooooooo. The urge for this didn't come out of nowhere, as I've grown increasingly dissatisfied with the original remaster, even after Jerome's Albert adaptation officially released. This was moreso done for my own satisfaction than for any official projects in the works, but I'm glad I did it all the same. Changed the lead instruments to utilize a couple Kontakt string libraries I have, pitched this down a semitone, beefed up the backing, change the percussion for more S4-accurate samples and adjusted the EQ. Rly happy with how this update turned out, and I hope you guys enjoy! :) --Ashley

Since I also happen to be a CSC admin, fun fact: this theme was actually first composed all the way back in 2018. The CSC was early in development on Rebecca The New Engine, and since we knew that Rebecca didn't really have motifs in the actual show, we got the ok from Kristian to secure this as a CSC-exclusive motif (for a while, at least!)
You'll hear that original theme in the upcoming part. This, however, is a 2021 remaster that Kristian just finished working on today. Hope you guys enjoy! --Chris
