Howard undergrad Jazmine stars in a weekly podcast that covers science, research, pop culture and more! In Vivo is a platform that is striving to inform and inspire people of color that they can have success in the research and medical field. The number of black Phd's and MD's are unfortunately low due to many reasons, so the main goal of this podcast is to push the field of medicine and highlight the importance of black faces in the field of research and medicine. Topics like science will be covered, but also pop culture will be talked about to show how multifaceted POC can be (and we love Beyonce, so we gon mention her). 

Jazmine (@allthatjaz___ on IG and Twitter) is a sophomore Biology major, Chemistry Minor at Howard University. She is also a Karsh STEM Scholar, a program where a select number of students are provided with opportunity and resources in order to be great candidates for graduate school. Hailing from Baltimore, MD, Jazmine's main goal is to build a bridge of knowledge to POC and her community about science and research and how it impacts them.

The podcast includes segments like "What's New?", where we talk about current medical or science news alongside current pop culture news, "New Word, Who This?", where we have a word of the week that is associated to vocabulary seen on the MCAT or GRE, and, "They Snapped", which is a segment that highlights black people in the medical or research field.
