‘Remember Why You Started’ is meant to be a message for everyone to look back to the roots – where anything is influenced by nothing but passion. The album tells the story of @regalmusic's personal struggles and self-discovery. A dark insight into the DJ’s life, influenced mainly by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’, where Dante has to cross all the layers of hell and purgatory to arrive in paradise.

@regalmusic's “Remember Why You Started” LP faces its final rework. The last package welcomes Regal and Sita Abellan, Thomas P.Heckmann, _asstnt & Roll Dann and Alignment to shine their production skills to the Spanish techno luminaries first album.

@regalmusic & multi-faceted Spanish artist Sita Abellan collaborated for the rework of “Cult of Personality”. Their rendering leans heavily into the realm of electro, with heavily distorted synth lines marching through like a freight train. Darting keys rush and reverberate back upon themselves before a powerful female vocal sample takes over from the male voice that commanded the original. Germany’s @troperecordings takes on “Before I Die”. Heavier and beefier than the original, the kick drum and baseline of Heckmann’s remix take control and dominate the landscape. He retains Pau Castro’s distinct vocals, leaving a familiar dash of the original in this bolder rework.

Straight from Madrid’s underground scene are producers @asstnt & @rolldann, who team up for the remix of “Respect”. A cut up, distorted rework that grows darker and more robust throughout. Bottomless kick drums ring out, while a heavily distorted electric guitar sample brings grime and a sonic haze to the track. Italian producer @alignment-3 wraps up with the accurately placed track “The Last Dance”. In this final remix of the series the kick drum received a complete overhaul, instantly pivoting the track into a darker place. Only the melodic key sequence pours light into the track and brings with it an overwhelming sense of positivity to the closer.

Involve Records starts the new year with the 3rd edition of the acclaimed Nightclub Pros series, which previously featured the likes of legends such as Maxx Rossi and DJ Ogi besides young talents like Fractions and Chlär, always keeping the balance between old-school and contemporary Techno.

Label owner Regal opens the VA with a trippy tool, reminiscent of his early basement weapons but with a warehouse-ambience. 'Undisputed' gets straight to the point without hesitation and keeps the pace high. DJ Emerson follows up with 'XTC', a rumbling cut for peak time club moments with flashing strobe-lights, giving the Van Halen classic an ecstatic Techno twist. On the flip side, Tensal from the Spanish legendary duo Exium takes a deep dive into futuristic worlds in 'Metaverse', where a brew of chopped vocals accompanies the rolling drums throughout the whole track. Up-and-coming DJ and producer _asstnt from Madrid closes the EP with 'La Línea‘, an 8-min epic march characterized by a catchy guitar riff and groovy percussion, alternating to a vocal insisting on following the line of life.

Involve Records presents two electrifying remixes from Spaniards Regal and Andres Campo that pay tribute to the iconic classic ‘Asi Me Gusta A Mi’ by Chimo Bayo, an emblem of the legendary ‘Ruta del Bakalao’ movement in the 90’s in Spain. 

Regal's "La Ruta" remix cleverly nods to the movement's history and reimagines the track with his signature acid touch. The distinct 303 sounds add a layer of driving intensity, capturing the essence of Regal's unparalleled production prowess. On the flip side, Andres Campo, resident of Spain’s legendary nightclub Florida 135, gives his remix a mesmerising rhythm by seamlessly integrating the original’s lyrics into a pattern of alternating heavy kicks and distorted machine sounds, bridging nostalgia and innovation.

For the 4th edition of Involve’s ‘Nightclub Pros’ series, Regal once again invites a mix of established and upcoming artists to showcase the bandwidth of the Madrid based label’s sound. 

On the front side, Roll Dann, who made his Involve debut oin the very first Nightclub Pros edition, opens the VA with ‘Culebra’, a heavy-hitting techno masterpiece with a rolling bassline, tinges of industrial sounds and a driving energetic drum work. Following up, SlugoS delivers the fast-paced, distorted sounding warehouse anthem ‘Seconds to Midnight’, characterizes by a rumbling kick, a ferocious melody and an ambience reminiscent of the early 2000’s Schranz movement. 

On the back side, Kristian Heikkila teams up with Johan Afterglow, keeping up the energy with their track ‘Lies’, making the listeners dive into an underground world where distorted and echoing screams penetrate their brains. Up-and-coming producer SWRD, part of the duo ITNA, closes the record with a mystic ride staged by a combination of synths and an ominous piano melody in his track ‘Alpha’, an epic end to the 4th edition of the NIghtclub Pros series.
