Cuphead is a classic Run & Gun game with a uniquely hand drawn visual style inspired by the old style cartoons of 1930s.

When i first stumbled upon the game, the influence for making a theme song for it was surely instantaneous and a specific style came to my mind for this piece that would give it the right flow. " Electro Swing " was literally asking to be approached with more of a modern touch.

The ESC’s sound is a powerful combination of vintage samples, electro beats, gypsy-jazz guitar, electric double bass, keys, live drums and dirty synths. Fronted by an engaging female double-act, who perform an extensive variety of vocal styles, the ESC delivers a consistently dazzling show.

'Remixed Vol.1' is the first of a 2 part multi-genre remix release of tracks from the 2nd album by the ESC; It Flew By. We plan to keep the Electro-Swing scene as diverse as it wants to be right here.

All the stops have been pulled on this release, with remixers taking the original material in all directions. The EP features a classic swing house remix of Hit & Run by the one and only Wolfgang Lohr, a killer Jump Up DnB remix of Remedy by Featurecast, some of the finest wobbliness from stateside Glitch Hop leaders SpekrFreks, an extremely heavy & haunting DnB remix of It's Okay, from some of the best producers on the DnB scene - Document One. Here is the Electro Swing Cover of the viral Coffin Dance Meme track "Astronomia" by Wolfgang Lohr. It’s a different version, with more focus on the swinging melody lines from a Big Band brass section. A mix of Garage House and Swing House with a fat bassline and a catchy arrangement. Coffin Dance, also known as Dancing Pallbearers or Dancing Coffin, refers to several videos showing Ghanian pallbearers dancing while they are carrying a coffin. In March 2020, the videos, paired with EDM song "Astronomia" by Tony Igy, gained popularity in FAIL edits, similar to To Be Continued and We'll Be Right Back memes!

"Astronomia" is a 2010 electronic dance music (EDM) song by Tony Igy. The song, as well as a 2014 remix by Vicetone, has since been used in a series of videos on YouTube and TikTok, most notably in the Dancing Pallbearers videos.
