Divine Revision (Govinda Remix)

Electric Dandelion first caught our attention while compiling The Bloom Series compilations in 2013, his tune Bass Tribe made his debut strong, holding out at #29 on the Addictech.com top downloads of 2013. More recently he was referred to on audioimpactentertainment.com as one of the standout acts of Southern California’s Lucidity Festival.

Metamorphosis is his debut full length release and truly reflects an ageless festival sound, rooted in Dub influences throughout and switching up beats with Trap nuances into Psychedelic Dub and even deeper Dubstep. The instrumentation is combination of analog and digital sounds and if this is one of the futures of festival Dub music then we are heading to good places.

Electric Dandelion is a multi instrumental artist who has been producing electronic music for the past 15 years. He combines solfeggio healing frequencies with his own original music to create a unique sound filled with  unforgettable soundscapes and heavy basslines. Electric Dandelion combines organic and electronic elements to create a mood that takes the listener on an extraordinary journey into unchartered musical wave forms. Electric Dandelion's  music has been selected for compilations, documentaries, commercials and short films such as The Bloom Series Vol 1: Fundamental Frequencies (Muti Music), Ascension(Red Bull), Adidas and Macy's. Electric Dandelion currently has a residency with BurnLA.

Planewalker - Akasha (feat. Ixchel Prisma)

I was honored to perform at Ecstatic Dance San Francisco on Sunday morning, December 17, 2017. These sets are a great opportunity for me to weave a journey all the way from downtempo, up to a crescendo of high energy beats, and then back down again. At the beginning, everyone stretches and warms up - in the middle, we get into the groove and cathartically unleash all our emotions and pent up energy - at the end, we all lay down on the floor and breathe, soaking in what we just experienced.

The dance was held at the Sacred Heart Church in San Francisco (currently known as the Church of 8 Wheels). The building is cavernous and beautiful, over a century old, and I documented this rare opportunity to hear some of the sounds closest to my heart reverberating through a sacred place with such rich acoustics!

Because of the Ecstatic Dance format (barefoot, sober, and focusing on the dance, with no talking on the dancefloor), there is very little crowd noise, even with over 100 people dancing that morning. This allows the sound of the music reverberating through the church to come through clearly in the recording!

The recording was cut short as I was transitioning into the song "Trails" and I didn't notice for another ten or fifteen minutes, so there is a chunk of the set missing... and it was a rather funky chunk at that! So for that fumble, I apologize. A piece of this set will just have to remain obscured by the passing of time. I got the recording going again toward the end of "Connectorbit" and stitched the two segments together after the fact, in order to restore a sense of seamlessness.

Ecliptic Mystic

.i. An amalga​mation of polarities, sonically and lyrically. Flirting between genres, dwelling in the twilight of the opposites between underground and mainstream music. .i. is comprised of producer Astare and vocali​st/son​gwrite​r, Centro De La Rosa, long time friends previously collab​orating under the moniker 'Electric Eden". Conceived when Astare, after calling out to his social media networks for a vocalist, discovered the music of Centro De La Rosa, who was at the same time looking for a music producer. .i.'s music was created via internet, living in different states and passing music files back and forth in order to collab​orate. Slowly a sound began to form. Influences of Experi​mental Future Trap, New Vogue met RnB, New Soul and Folk and the sound of .i. was born.

Astare:
Born with twin creative engines, Astare is a high output music producer. Producing for both .i. and other artists, Astare works in a recording studio by day and produces .i. by night. But when Astare produces .i. , he indulges in taking production concepts and sound beyond their everyday limits, experi​menting and breaking the rules to create new and innovative sounding music.
Astare’s experience in the industry has developed over 3 different monikers, all releasing on independent record labels in Australia and worldwide. He has toured overseas and sold thousands of albums and EPs worldwide yet Astare prefers not to mention the name of these projects reinventing himself in the form of .i.

Centro De La Rosa:
Born into a world of extremes, the artist known as Centro de la Rosa experienced the polarities of total freedom and utter restriction as a young child. After managing to climb out of a very dark deep pit of child Cult abuse, Centro was thrust into the insurance sales world of Casinos and con artists and an ex demon possessed Hitman. Narrowly escaping a potential life of bad haircuts, yum cha lunch meetings and possible impris​onment, Centro gave up the world of dodgy cash and headed into the underground arts scene where he found alternative rock n roll, techno, mind expanding drugs and the dole.
On one late unexpected night, whilst staring into a candle, Centros mind sort of popped open, he experienced a natural heightened state of consci​ousness and a love he had only known on very good drugs. He was never the same again. He left his life of art and music and pursued the life of a spiritual adept. For many years he travelled both the outer and inner worlds discovering the mysteries of the self and psyche. Now, whether a magician, or madman or merely a figment of his own imagin​ation, Centro de la Rosa, after 800 days of celibacy in a tiny room surrounded by prostitutes and pimps, junkies and dealers, re emerges back onto the scene as the voice of .i.
