I very rarely write to my own beats, and I think these are the best tracks that I’ve put together over the years. Although the track listing isn’t exactly chronological in terms of when I made the tracks (I made Night-Time Writing before Lifestyle), these songs essentially chronicle my journey of escaping the traps of substance abuse, holding onto a passion for music, and following that instead of wasting away in addiction. It’s nice to be able to actually release them together as one project, especially seeing as this journey is far in the past, I’ve been sober for 3 years now and have never been more dedicated to making music.
