Living a simple life doesn’t mean being in a simple world. The world of Ioka is complicated and layered, yet his existence consists of modest actions which happen at certain moments. All moments are short. Many of them are not breathtaking. Some are quite odd. Very few are life-altering. But, strangely enough, this is exactly what makes the whole experience more exciting.

There are always too many various perception levels of even basic happenings, let alone rare and intricate ones. And it is always up to an observer either to appreciate the surface, to dig more or less deep or to find joy in imaginary realms.

As for the music, anyone can enjoy it just as it is. Without understanding the process of its producing, or studying the rules of composition, or empathizing with the story behind a particular track, or even without knowing the name of a creator. And that’s what music and life have in common. Still, some of us prefer to search for more.

Ioka came out of a house. The wind was fondling willows. Ioka tasted the rain. The rain tasted like corn and travelling. Ioka, of course, flew up and slowly moved forward, relishing the tickling.

Flying is easy when you can fly. Rain is pleasant if you like it. Taste is a matter of whatsoever. Sounds are chilling when it’s too hot around. This text is both well-measured and ridiculous. In short, everything depends.

Rain In America

When Ioka saw an electric guitar for the first time, he already knew what to do. He grabbed the instrument and smashed it on the ground. That’s exactly what should be done, right?

Ironically, some things work better if you break them. For instance, this is certainly true for music rhythms.

One day, Ioka arrived by train in a town. There was a man on a street who played an organ. The melody was rather soulful, but then it stopped. And everything around stopped at the same moment: clocks, pedestrians, and birds.

Well, music is moving. Some would say this statement sounds trite, but what can we do? Now and then, clichés say the truth.

Ioka took the biggest rocket he could find. Then, he picked the smallest match to fire it. He had a serious reason for doing exactly that and he explained it thoroughly: “But fireworks!”

Explosions can be frightening and dangerous. But when you control them, they result in beautiful things: colorful lights, fast vehicles and groovy music tracks.

Ferrovia

Ioka was born on a farmyard  in the mountains, high up in the clouds. 
He watched the Japanese light above the tree, went through the grass and through the water.
While the tree is glowing, Ioka dances and dances, up in the house stands the vase of flowers.

He likes the sound of clouds, roses, and elephants.
