Hailing out of 'Scranton' located in the Valley of North Eastern Pennsylvania, Ionick is an unstoppable moving force. Growing up, Ionick has always been surrounded in music through family and friends picking up the drums at 3 years old. Age 10 he grew a liking through music production being introduced to Guitar Hero. It wasn't until 12 he took production serious. Ionick is a fusion of Dance, Hip Hop and R&B. He known for having a "pulsing atmospheric" production style.

Ionick, formally known as Nicholas Anthony "Semanek" graduated in 2023 from Kutztown University pursuing a Bachelors degree in Commercial Music with a minor focus in Audio Engineering.
