There are different modes of awakeness and different modes of sleep. But there are also these unique modes of consciousness that are the in-between – a sort of Flight Mode. This limbo warp of a time hole sucks you into a liquid embodiment where you are not sure if you are in reality, a dream or another universe. It is in that unique moment that inspiration can appear so naturally, you just need to understand it is just there next to you for the grabs. 

Opposite8 aka Kobi Kastoriano and Idan Hos from Israel have managed to be fully aware of this Flight Mode surrounding and managed to shape the situation to their advantage. Opposite8 have been stirring things in the Psytrance scene from the 1990s and released pieces (under the name Destination) in many famous labels such as Krembo, Hed Arzi, Digital Underground and many more. They have since then released gems on Iono Music such as Force Fiction (with Solarix ), and Real Faces. 

Now that Opposite8 have leaped into the Flight Mode, it opened up an opportunity for you to get a Behind the Scene view of the world unknown, the limbo hidden realm of opportunities. Some thought it is a mere Cross Platform; however, it is much more complex and sophisticated than that. One needs to take Osher’s Progressive Love and morph it in order to fully understand the power enfolded in such a magical environment. But once that has been achieved, tranquillity spreads all around you.

Bayawaka is an artist name of Golan Aflalo, originally from Jerusalem, presently living in Berlin. Initially, Golan was all about Broken Beats, PsyBass, Breaks and Chillout, but in the last few years he branched out to four-on-the-floor genres which he DJ’s under the name Golanski.

Since the early 2017 Golan is also a co-managing Digital Structures’s Berlin branch, and this following xXETEXx Vol. 02 is his take on the world of Psychedelic Tech - hand picked, road tested, grass fed and organic voyage into the diversity of dance floor sound. Thanks to all participating artists, you have outdone yourselves!

In the last decade Berlin became a magnetic force of culture. With an enormous appeal to artists from all areas of expertise including music, design, architecture, theatre, dance and everything that helps the evolution of imagination and creativity. This is why it should come to no surprise that it is the birth place of both Iono Music and its founder - Matthias Sperlich.

Like many other labels, Iono Music was born in order to give its founder, Cubixx aka Matthias Sperlich, the freedom he needed to release his first creation as Koaxkaos – "Evolutyon". After he met Murus in 2003 at a Psytrance festival, they started working together for several years, and so Iono Music was established in 2005. Unlike many other labels, which are affected by fashion, hype and commercial factors, Iono Music has been motivated by the radiation that the music transmits and the way the body reacts to it. If the music changes the molecules and atoms into ion then it means it has been ionized*. The Ionization process can only be fully successful if your music is high quality Electronic music. Iono Music's main emphasis is on Progressive Psytrance and yet any Electronic style is accepted as long as it stands out of the others – after all it has to reach the top atmosphere to be an Iono…

Matthias Sperlich was born in 1977 in Berlin, Germany. He has over 15 years of experience behind the decks and has a long time love affair with electronic music. He works as a professional VFX artist for cinema and TV, which allows him to pursue his passion and vision of extraordinary music, while being guided by his perfectionist's standards. Since the beginning Cubixx knew that Iono Music could succeed only if he chooses each artist with extra care, examining every aspect to see if they belong in the Iono family. Thus all the artists and dj's you see in our website were picked one by one, after proving to be not only excellent artists but also great people.

Iono Music never stops to evolve, always being one step ahead with technology and new initiatives it had grown to be an exciting international label. Always on the move, Iono Music promises to give you the top notch music this atmosphere can offer.
