Stuff I did...
- recreated the individual bass sounds of the original song
- tweaked the bassline & added a chord progression in every 4th bar
- bathed the track in 808 & 909 drum machine deliciousness
- added a couple 8-bar breakdowns to cool off
- spiced it up with vocal chops & mouth-feel percussion

I'm christening 2021 with a very unexpected rework of Taylor Swift's reflective song "Mirrorball" from FOLKLORE. My challenge was to reimagine it as five minutes of funky, blissful disco escapism, and to add rays of light & color to counter the grey & gloomy feelings we face this winter.
