Five Years Of Subbass Netlabel
In 2015 Subbass Netlabel is 5 years old!
For this occasion, we publish our jubilee compilation within
50 songs by 50 Artists from 5 Years.
Subbass started in 2010 with the “Dubstep Made in Germany” compilation issue - to the beginning we had a monthly dubstep party for several years on the run. Most of our guest DJs besides produced their own music. Dubstep was here still underground, so near nobody had published anything. To give the underground producers a base, the idea for the compilation was born. this series presents Bass Music producers from the German Scene, for which the production of tunes is a big part of their passion in supporting the emergence and rooting down of sustaining structures for low frequency music. So far we have published seven Compilations.

Further Subbass invented the Ethnostep series - a musical trip. producers from around the world with outstanding recordings - Global Bass merges with World Music - A vibrating melange, a musical elixir to stimulant the seduction of senses of cosmopolitan and open minded individuals. Many EPs and Artist Albums have followed, Sidekick Compilations such as Drones (Ambient Soundscapes), Dub, Subbastards (EDM/Filth) and at last the two beautiful Compilations Bassheads and Bass Prayers (Deep / Global Bass)

Making music is the most primeval form of human expression. Imbued with a mystical power to communicate at an instinctual level that transcendents language and speaks directly to the soul. What we have in mind is to go to the one place that everybody carries within themselves. We believe that the whole external universe is also found within us all. There is one planet, and on this planet there is this peaceful, easy, partying tribe, everybody can connect to.
