OCCA (ARCHIV)

OCCA has been organizing ARCHIV for over 10 years at the sacred club, Precious Hall in Sapporo, located in the northernmost region of Japan, Hokkaido. With his own party ARCHIV at the core, he has been expanding his scope of activities from all over Japan to the rest of the world. As an entity of singularity, he aims to transform time/space/spirit into unknown realms by arranging multifaceted elements such as the spiritualism of Psychedelic Music, the storytelling nature of House Music, the sci-fi dystopian feel of Detroit Techno and the trance of Minimal Music in a three- dimensional way through his deft mixing.
His rare presence has been recognized and he has been invited to play at DJ NOBU's Future Terror, Mindgames' The Labyrinth/Balance, and in recent years, has been invited to parties in Asia, Spekki Webu's Mirror Zone 5 Years Tour in EU, System Revival and Georgia's prestigious Bassiani, his circle of resonance continues to spread out.

Mariachiara Troianiello, the Italian sound artist behind the moniker Katatonic Silentio, works at the crossroads of electronic music, performing arts and sound studies. Active as a DJ for more than 15 years, her sets adopt multiple forms, fluctuating between an analogue past and a technological, fast-paced future. At times, her sets focus on pure abstraction, consisting of ethereal soundscapes that seek to transcend the tangible through a mix of musique concrète, world, spoken word, ambient or dub. At others, they come across as concrete and club-oriented, crossing techno, broken beats or drum'n'bass.

Bio:

Jaime Romero aka Estrato Aurora  is also the half of Pajaro Dune project (with David Ortolá). He has been an integral part of Valencia's underground music scene. Jaime as a Dj and producer has more than 2 decades in the studio working with analogic machines and a whole kind of stuff. He defines himself as an Atmospheric music worker. His line on the last years has leaded to publish on known labels such as: Alpenglühen, Bliq Rec, Appian Sounds, On Board, Dial Rec,Discos Pandémicos,Grabaciones Perpendiculares, Oslated, HC Records, Sure Thing, Sungate...
Together with d_o_ppelgaenger his new label “Sediments” has just been released.

Intrigued by dreaming—hence the name Altjira—his music mirrors his own dreamtime, creating a surreal, dream-infused journey of the mind. This mix reflects his creative process with a balance of minimalism and layered depth, where each layer reveals itself gradually

Though his style is diverse, atmospheric electronica and ambient is always at the core with a some kind of psychedelic edge to it. His main sources of inspiration in music are abstract electronica producers from the 90's like Chris Carter and Khan & Walker, which you will also hear in this mix.

Altjira recently released his debut album, “Flux Serpent” which he has been working on for the last couple of years with the support of Spekki Webu & Sun Genam. 

He believes in letting the music speak for itself, so sit back and allow the textures of this mix to unfold naturally.
