The interplay of frequencies in music creates resonance. It transforms into movement and thought. We dance, we feel. How can something as indeterminate, ambiguous and perplexing as music be so unmistakable in its ability to create stories and emotions that words cannot convey?

When listening to Dandara’s tunes, it’s easy to hear where he gets his inspiration from. Although he’s originally based in Basel, Switzerland, you can currently find him exploring beaches and jungles in South America - where he is touring and travelling the continent, spreading his positive musical vibes as he goes.

His sound reflects his interests and philosophy in life: he collects sounds and inspiration from his travels, using them to fuse electronic dance music with ancient and traditional sounds, blurring the boundaries different eras while never losing sight of the omnipotent groove. At times his music is driven and bouncy, sometimes it’s ethnic and deep. But at all times, it’s the creative result of the environments he is exploring and the experiences that are shaping him. 

This is an evolving set, taking the listener on a journey through different styles and productions, some of which we have never heard before. In the words of the man himself: “Listen, dance, enjoy”. Yes sir!

Flowerpowder are Boudewijn Zeldenthuis (17) and Gerolf Naaktgeboren (15) from the small Dutch town of Nijmegen (The Netherlands). Fleeing the rural monotony and boredom of Nijmegen at a very early age to travel to Eindhoven, they first met their idols at legendary 1990s clubs like "De Feijnster", "Sytstem X" or "Paradisco".
First sonic experiments soon resulted in notable releases and high profile bookings in reputable clubs all around the globe. Heavily influenced by their first long-distance flight to Trinidad and Tobago in the incredibly hot summer of 2005, both producers started to reconcile their beneluxian musical preferences with a pinch of afro-base and zambo-rave. In their comeback release "Sprizztour EP" Flowerpowder are reinventing the idea of transparent aestival dance music with an irresistible groovy drive while staying rigorously faithful to their roots in Dutch ambient trance techno. Although their ascent to the very top of the global EDM elite does not seem to ever slow down, Boudewijn and Gerolf have managed to stay grounded and never refuse to have - as they say - "a dutchi with the brudis".

Theres a tale of a place where there was no time, no shame, pure happiness and freedom, it was called the Bar 25.
I discovered the Bar 25 in my early teens and all the pictures that i saw and the music that came out of this place inspired in me a wonderful, naive picture of night life. It grew at a time before i really knew what things like drugs and escapism were, only on the love for freedom to be whoever you want, flashy colourful lights and electronic music.
I still carry this picture with me and will never stop believing in it. When i watched the Bar 25 Movie again recently and this one little piece of music by the absolutely insane @reecode came on, i felt this image bloom in my chest and i wanted to honor this place and thank it for were it brought me.

Perceptions (Wahrnehmungen) differ, depending on your personal setting. And I like it a lot to meet people that break through usual thinking. People who help expand my own horizon. It’s challenging to recap what you experience as right or wrong. Reality (Wirklichkeiten) are highly perceptual and pluralistic. Optimists perceive a totally different reality than pessimists. There are infinite possibilities (Möglichkeiten) in there. With that in mind it is possible to be open and tolerant for new situations and people.

Bagaluten is a tribute to the KG9.

Iorie is a producer, Liveact and DJ from Germany. He started young singing, playing instruments and combined it all later by starting to produce at the age of 15.
